I've been coming here since I was a kid and it always satisfies! Today was wonderful. The french crepe was excellent. Honestly a huge highlight was our amazing waiter Cedric, who was an absolute ray of sunshine!! Cedric's enthusiasm really elevated our experience. Always a fan of Original House of Pancakes :)

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and seated right away. The service was excellent—fast and efficient without making us feel rushed. The food was beyond delicious; I had the eggs Benedict, and they were perfectly cooked with a rich and creamy hollandaise sauce. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a rustic yet modern touch that made it the perfect spot for a weekend brunch. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an amazing breakfast!

No takeout after 7:45am. They make you sign in and wait for a table (if no seating is available) and then order your food and take it to go.
Old and dated. Very small tight booths. Our waiter was friendly. The food was mediocre but the proportions were big. I don't think I will go back.

We went there today for the first time. Possibly the best breakfast place I’ve been to. And I’ve eaten at a lot of places from NJ to CA. This place checks all the marks. We got the vegetarian omelette, the Swedish pancakes and the omelette also came with pancakes that I swapped out for the cinnamon raisin pancakes.

Fantastic place to get a western style breakfast or brunch. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes are gigantic, large enough for two people to share at least. Omelettes come with a side of 3 pancakes and are already very large. The Dutch baby is positively gigantic. Food comes out fast and is delicious, you may end up waiting 15 minutes for a seat during busier hours. Overall I highly recommend this dining destination if you are a breakfast enjoyer.

The place has changed over the years. I had banana pancakes where the banana was just sliced and placed on top of pancakes rather than cooked into it. They don't offer as many menu items as before.

The original pancake house is one of the best places I’ve ever had breakfast. The staff is super nice and friendly and the food is excellent. I go to the one in Aliso Viejo on Moulton Parkway.
