I just had the “Monster Breakfast” burrito. It tasted fine, nothing special though but it was more egg then anything else. What I did notice right away though is that the burrito is about half the size of other Monster breakfast burritos I’ve had at other Primos locations. This is NOT a monster burrito. It’s just your average run of the mill everyday burrito.
This is truly a hidden gem. Fantastic quality food and nice employees. If you’re unwilling to walk into the gas station, just do the drive thru.
I now regret how many times I passed this place without stopping! Fantastic food. Huge menu. Magical beans.
The beans along with the red and green salsas are really good. The quesotaco was super salty. I've had better chorizo burritos elsewhere.
First few times visited it was good. Had something different this time. It was not good. Had chicken tostada in a shell. The romaine was cut into small shreds that would have been o.k. except some were very dark indicating long past their prime, dead. I picked them out as much as I could. The chicken pieces were tiny. So small you couldn't taste them. Staff was fine but meal was such turn off don't plan on going back.
Go to quick and dirty fast Mexican drive-through. If you want great a Mexican sit-down meal. Check out my other review.Lost a star. No coke products. Pepsi only. ?
My first trip was so so and was going to give a three... However, my second trip was awesome food wise. I got a 'monster fiery burrito make it mas" and this thing was not only huge... It tasted, I dunno, awesome... And had a decent amount of heat to it (sidenote. It wasn't Armageddon or Carolina Reaper heat, but the heat was good and built while you ate). Also, for 20 bucks, enough to feed three or have for three meals. Kudos. This is your standard 8x8 Togo box. The green sauce is very tasty with some heat and the habanero sauce was supper nice, for those of you who like heat.I'll be back.
The tacos are very good. We will be returning for a second time.
The Breakfast 619 burrito is always my go to but the Chilaquiles is amazing too! Staff is always so friendly .
Eat at Primos the morning after you had a crazy night of drinking and you need something barely edible in a pool of grease. Good times ?

I tried this place for the first time because the reviews say the monster breakfast burritos are amazing. I was really disappointed though. The taste was great but the burrito was so tiny for the price they were charging. Not worth it at all...it was more like a taco in a giant tortilla if anything because once I unwrapped it to look inside it was like nothing. I won't be going back sadly.
Went for Taco Tuesday. Gotta say I remember the food being a lot better when they were out in Foothill Ranch. I'll give it another try with something a little better than tacos to gage their food. Too much sauce and stuff on the tacos took away from the meat flavor.
With Chelas Mexican Food now in San Clemente, Really miss their Breakfast MVP looking for a equivalent or better. Primos has delivered as their monster burrito selection is superb. Tried the Taco Tuesday deal and very impressed with quality and condiments offered. I will be back to try their other daily specials as we locals need to support these businesses that deliver great food and service.
Don't be fooled by the peculiar marriage of fuel and fodder. A great way to forget you just paid $100+ for gas is to treat yourself to a torta at Primos authentic Mexican food. The best Mexican cuisine in Aliso. Really.
The best breakfast burrito around! Delicious bacon and potatoes, definitely my be go-to spot for a quick delicious bite.
