Saffron Bakery is easily the best bakery in the neighborhood. The baked goods are outstanding, especially the insanely flaky croissants, rich savory pastries, and fresh, high-quality bread made with excellent ingredients you can actually taste. Everything is baked fresh and the textures and flavors are consistently perfect.
Their breakfast and lunch options are just as good, filling, flavorful, and made with the same level of care. On top of that, the prices are incredibly fair for the quality.
The owner is genuinely kind and welcoming.

Delicious coffee. I also love that it comes in these nice cups instead of paper cups

Awesome spot, got a chocolate nut cookie, cheesecake slice and a Turkish coffee. Real good the cookies probably been sitting out a whole and still had oowie gooie chocy, the cheesecake is, y'know, cheesecake, so fantastic, and the coffee was piping hot and real yummy. Also got a loaf of sourdough for the house, theirs is real good. 10/10 would come back

We had a family luncheon and my brother-in-law brought two boxes. A batch of wonderful pastries from saffron bakery. Oh my God was it delicious. We shared pieces of every single one in there.

Wonderful! That sums up this bakery. The owner is a sweetheart, and he and his wife have created a gem in Aliso! I would rate it 10 stars if I could.

Darius takes pride and pleasure in serving the highest quality coffee, bakery delicacies and other food. He was attentive to our needs and very personable. I quite enjoyed his own special creation the spiced macchiato, which was less sweet but flavorful.

Great people at this bakery with amazing service. Make you feel right at home. The food is amazing, had their tuna sandwich (best tuna we’ve had), French baguette, snickerdoodle and gingerbread cookie. It was all 10/10. Highly recommend them!

We love Saffron Bakery so much! We visit the area from NYC every year and always look forward to going to Saffron as many times as we can squeeze in during our trip. They are also the kindest people, and their pastries are outstanding, especially their cinnamon rolls, danishes, and croissants. Whoever is laminating their pastry really knows what they’re doing. This year, we also got their stunning raspberry and pistachio tarte for Thanksgiving, which blew us all away. We’re looking forward to returning next year!
