Visited yesterday for maybe the 20th time in the year I've lived in town. I tried to make this place a regular stop. It's got a pleasant patio space, some staff are quite friendly and the coffee IS good. But somewhere along the way my brain tagged it 'not that great a place to work,' and yesterday, I realized why. Repeatedly, including at least the last three times I've been there in succession, the internet just stopped working a while after I arrived. Tried all the solutions, reset my modem, etc. It just never came back. I ended up using my mobile hotspot for a while, but what I was doing involved watching a video, so eventually I gave up and went home.

Honestly, this has happened now so consistently that for a wild moment, I wondered whether the business owner had found some kind of timeout setting and counterrationally convinced themself that it would be good for business. Either way, they need to ask themself, am I REALLY aiming to provide WORSE service than Starbucks in ANY dimension of my business? Is THAT the way to retain clientele?

Beautiful patio! There was a couple playing music, which added to the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed my coconut cold brew. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

very cool spot to pick up some great bags of coffee. Only wish they had a bit more variety, but the beans are excellent and roasted very well.

Cute, quaint café. Food and drinks are delicious; staff is very friendly. Aesthetically pleasing, cozy atmosphere, and live music that isn't obnoxiously loud ✅️

This is one of my favorite place to get away, enjoy a nice drink, and simply be. It reminds me of Beauty and the Beast, and sitting indoors or outdoors are both comfortable and atmospheric.

Perfect place to enjoy a book or work on a laptop, or just enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. One of my most favorite coffee places in San Diego. I usually get the avo toast (with an egg) and oat meal (quite a few options for topping), and a cappucino. It is a popular place among the locals - the coffee shop got featured in news for its originality. The store has plenty of customar parking spots in the back. Road side parking in the front is always available. Most days it is open till 4pm. For me, the only down side is that it is closed on Sunday. Well, The Well Cafe might as well reconsider Sunday hours for the wellness of the coffeeshop lovers like me :)

Cozy and hearthy cafe with a gardenesque patio lounging. Step inside to be transported to the scent of roasted coffee, breakfast, the din of smoothies, salads, and panini sandwiches being made, and the wonderful view of the Alpine hills.
The coffee is outstanding. Service is friendly. The atmosphere is hospitable.
Parking behind the building on a gravel lot under a canopy of trees and mountain air.
I will definitely be returning with my whole crew 🦜🏴‍☠️ Yarrr!!!

The waffle, formerly my favorite, was awful. I could barely swallow one bite. We took both back. It was chewy and doughy. Not like the old days at all. My friend's first time there! Such sadness.

Stopped for gluten free because their reviews claim they have a good selection.
They have a waffle that doesn’t taste good (did not finish it) and a gluten free chocolate chip cookie.
A sandwich was also ordered but not finished as the flavor was also not desirable.

Don’t get me wrong I usually either don’t leave reviews or give 5 star without comment, but this place man really disappointment I pay 50$ for 2 avocado toast and 2 drinks(not that fancy drinks) the avocado toast was make me speechless I ordered eggs on it and the egg was just a joke. Ordering process take 10 min getting drink another 10 and after other 10 minutes we finally get our ridiculous avocado toast :))), and even worse the place was completely empty. But staff was kind thanks:)) but never again

We decided to try this cafe. Very cute spot. Unfortunately, I never got my order. They did not call out names as the orders came up. One of our items were taken by other people since the food & drinks are left at an open counter and people order the same things. Eventually, they did start calling names, but it was late and we had to leave. They were able to refund my order i never received.

Very clean and quaint little cafe. Service is excellent. A few tables for a dine in experience. Not much parking. Decent variety of drinks, hot and cold. Not really prepared for a breakfast meal but maybe breakfast snacks. The bagels are NOT true NY style bagels, they’re just round bread with a hole in it. So, if you like quaint little cafes, this place is for you.
