Love this place, but it's closed right now. I hope they're doing renovations and will open again soon?? I look forward to eating here every time I visit.
Are they open or not??? I drove by last week and they were still closed.
My favorite mexican food .....period.
My food was ok I guess I received an attitude from owner ! Dont know why ! My plate did not look like any of these photos.
Best breakfast in town! I've been eating here for over 20 years. Great service Great food and very reasonable price. Alfredo's huevos gringos is a must try!
One of the very good Mexican restaurants in north San Jose Area. I would strongly suggest the combo specials.
Best fish tacos anywhere. It is within walking distance of the Extended Stay Hotel. Very reasonable and excellent service and can eat outside.
This is a small family run restaurant in Alviso. It has a nice covered patio
Chile Verde always on point. Best Salsa I've ever had!!
The spot is excellent and spacious, the food was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. rapidly, effective service and very amiable staff. I highly recommend this place.

Great ambience and very friendly service. Food was solid but I’ve definitely had better Mexican food even in the South Bay alone. Definitely worth a visit. Great for a smaller group of people.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The complementary salsa is deliciously spicy, tortilla chips tasted crispy and homemade. Macheca is lip-smackingly spicy, veggie salad with fluffy mozzarella strips and unforgettable edible taco bowl. Lol, I kept munching on hubby's bowl!
Alviso, almost a forgotten backwater of the South Bay, still quirky with some interesting architecture, not sure for how long before the SJ sprawl envelopes it. Marie Elena's a long time fixture, very helpful and accommodating waitresses, reasonably priced Mexican staples, and a relaxed deck, easy to while away a few hours on a sunny day.
Awesome food and delightful staff. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food on a nice quiet patio by the Bay, this is a must see!
Decent restaurant. A bit crowded, both in table and chair placement. Food was good, the ambience could be better
