The loveliest experience. Great hospitality and so welcoming. Wine was wonderful, and staff was accommodating to my allergy to red wine and made sure I had a terrific experience with their whites. Town is super cute as well.
Holgate is the best because Rob is so entertaining.Rob remembers everyone's name and what drink you are on no matter how full the room is. And, of course, his wines are very good too!
A few years ago I visited Rob’s quaint tasking room in downtown Amador City and fell in love with his wines. Rob’s passion for his wines shines through in each and every bottle. They are all delicious. So I went back a few weeks ago and picked up two cases with a mix of Rose, Cab, S&M, Chardonnay , and Sauvignon Blanc for my mom’s 70th bday party in the Bay Area.
