Service was awesome the owner/ cooks were super sweet . Everything was cooked within 15 mins . The parking was full because this is for the casino so that's understandable but you'll find a few parking in the back. You might think the price is high but if you know how much work goes in making Thai or Laos food . It takes a lot of work. I ordered the papaya salad ( medium ) the flavor was exactly what i expected . It wasn't too spicy . It's great how they threw in the vermicelli noodles and cabbage . Very traditional. The amount of Sticky rice we received was good . You can tell it was made fresh and not microwaved from the freezer. The pork ribs were cooked to perfection and not too salty or oily. They give u a good amount. The fried chicken was good as well . Flavor was good. The sauce that came with the chicken and ribs was good and wasn't too spicy . I ordered a chicken bahn mi but I didn't taste it . The hubby said it was good , came with lots of fresh veggies . Definitely give this place a try ! It's good if u haven't had traditional Laos / Thai food not sold at the restaurant.

2/28/24: we tried a few more items... Bahn Mi are good. We bought one of each (chicken, pork, beef) to try. Fresh bread and veggies. Reasonably priced @ $8. Also got the Fried Pork. It was well-seasoned, but a little too chewy (tough) for me. Fried rice is good.

Really tasty food - solid 4.5 stars- beautiful day to enjoy tented parking lot picnic area - maybe I'll order online next time, lots of food comes out of this little truck, not so much "people rush" as "order rush" / BUT well worth any wait: clean, hot, fresh Lao/Thai food! I had the Lao Banh Mi (pork) / the pickled veggies were sour and crisp, a perfect counterpoint to the warm sweet pork. Could have used just a bit more meat or less bun for perfect meat/bun ratio. Also had the Pork Larb / medium The larb had a bit of zing, had some chilis but mostly from the tart lime - could have gone with "spicy", but I'm careful with new places. Noticed the Fried Rice too late, so DEFINITELY COMING BACK to try it! (sorry, still not used to taking pictures of my plates before I start chowing)

Definitely legit Thai, Lao food place. I was surprised with how good the food was. Definitely a go to if you are in the area. From their soups, sides, to salads, you can't go wrong.

Tonights spread was fire!!! We got the khao soy, fried chicken and ribs, some sticky rice, some super hot papaya salad and pork larb. Everything so flavorful and the ladies are so nice and quick. I'll definitely be back soon to try their khao piek n everything else. Super yummy! My tummy is happy and craving satisfied. Get used to my face, Kob Kitchen! Ill be back :)

There are a few Lao places in the bay area, but this is the one that tastes most like my mom’s cooking. I always love eating my mom’s khaub piaj (khao piak) and thankfully this food truck’s khao piak tastes amazing! the portion size is great as well! makes it worth the price. there was also a lot of meat with the beef Laab even underneath the lettuce. When i asked for extra spicy, they delivered! it’s not good if it’s not spicy. love dipping my sticky rice in the laab and the pepper sauce. 10/10 would recommend

Kob's Kitchen is such a hidden gem in American Canyon! It's a modest food truck tucked away in the parking lot of a casino. I usually get their Khao Poon, and it is soo yummy! It's creamy, spicy, and rich. If you order on a Monday or Tuesday, I highly recommend getting it! Today, I decided to try their Khao Mun Gai Tod and Nam Khao. Both delicious and also recommend both! One of the best things about Kob's is their generous portion sizes. Most dishes I get last 2 meals for me, which is great since their food is so good. They are always kind as well! For one of my past orders, they said they started plating it when they saw me coming so the food was hot and fresh. I appreciate their care and consideration to their costumers. If you're in the mood for some yummy Lao and Thai food, please give Kob's Kitchen a try!

Kob's Kitchen is new to the American Canyon area. It's located in the parking lot of a small casino which is totally smart. They have Laotian and Vietnamese food. The Thai tea was pretty good. Not too sweet. Just enough tea for me which is how I prefer it. The banh mi is pretty good. The only thing that I would suggest is a little bit less mayo. This truck has been a go-to for me when I want something yummy and quick. I've tried other options as well which have been pretty good. No complaints here.

Best Thai in American Canyon. Sure it''s a low bar but still highly recommend. I had spring rolls, and fried rice but the Larb but all were exceptional, and the service was great.

Authentic af. You want real Laotian/Thai food? This is it. Everything they have on their menu is definitely authentic, and fire. Don't ask for spicy if you ain't ready for that fire.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I love it and will definitely make it a my go to place. I had the chicken noodle soup (Khao Piak) which is only available on Fridays and Saturdays. My husband had the beef sandwich roll ( Lao Banh Mi) and the shrimp spring rolls, and we shared a chicken Pad Thai. Oh my goodness what a special treat!! I haven’t had good Lao & Thai food since I worked in S.F. 6 yrs ago. The flavors are right on and authentic. We just learned of this place from a dear friend and I was shocked that this Food truck was so close to my home. I highly recommend the food.Parking: This is a Food Truck
