I’ve been a regular at the American Canyon Starbucks for months, visiting a few times a week, always making a purchase, keeping my table neat, and tipping when I can. But after my last two experiences with the manager, I’m honestly questioning whether I want to keep coming back.
On January 27th, I was in the store on a phone call when the manager suddenly interrupted me, loudly demanding that I make a purchase immediately. I let her know I would, just like I always do, but she kept going on in front of everyone that I “ACTUALLY” had to buy something, as if I had been sitting there without paying before (which has never happened). Even after I ended my call and started placing my order, she came up again, raising her voice and telling me to leave. The whole interaction felt aggressive, unnecessary, and humiliating.
I was willing to believe this was just a bad moment—until I came back on February 3rd and saw her treat someone else completely differently. She politely informed another customer of the seating policy with no hostility at all, proving that she can be respectful when she chooses to be. Meanwhile, she made a loud comment about how there were no tables left for her to sit at because they were “all taken up” while standing right behind me. It felt incredibly pointed and unprofessional.
I have no issue following store policies, but there’s a way to communicate them without singling people out and making them feel unwelcome. It’s disappointing that someone in a management position would treat a loyal customer this way. I hope Starbucks takes a hard look at how leadership at this location interacts with customers because this experience has left a really bad impression.
For clarity, I emailed Starbucks Customer Service twice regarding this issue before posting this review, but I never received a response. This review was written after those attempts to resolve the matter directly.

This is my fav Starbucks location! I can rave about this Starbucks for days! Such friendly staff every single time I go in! They always get my orders right and everything always tastes amazing! Thank you!

Bacon/sausage breakfast wraps were decent.
I contacted them to get help with their sister location in American Canyon. First, they gave me the phone number of the "District Manager" who never returned my phone call. And then the "manager" of the location today laughed about me in the back room with his employees and came out with a phone number lying to me saying it was to a higher power than the DM and it was simply the customer service line I warned him I called before. This was after an employee in the front mocked me for having severely chapped lips. When I came home, I made sure to rip all the chapped skin off my lips and make them bleed since she was so unbelievably cruel. DO NOT GO HERE!

We went to this Starbucks for a private meeting and while we were there, we were subjected to the loudest, most immature behavior I've ever seen from Starbucks staff. I'm not sure what all the excitement was about, but my wife asked for a manager and everybody pointed at the person who was- by far- the loudest and most disruptive person in the room. Yelling, screaming and high-volume yelling at guests she was excited to see, telling everybody about her personal life, etc was just a small bit of what we experienced last night. I'm appalled at what the guests were subjected to, and what's worse is that the volume of conversation between staff soon returned to previous levels not long after my wife said something.We could not hear each other (sitting next to each other) or the people we were talking to on the phone in our meeting because of the sheer volume constantly coming from this ladies vocal chords. Holy cow, I'm not even kidding. This manager should be in a theater not equipped with sound amplification, or giving speeches to thousands, not running a Starbucks in AmCan.

Such great service. They recently got their credit card reader stole (who does that!) and were able to run cards inside with permission, which I really appreciated. They were able to get through 10 cars in 10 minutes with a smile! The sugarcookie almond milk latte, but with oatmilk instead, is my favorite holiday drink!

ALL Starbuck stores have changed post COVID -19 and NOT for the better in MY opinion. That being said this is STILL one of my all time go to stores. The Baristas at this store have remained consistently GOOD!

Would not recommend, it took 10 minutes for them to make my order I did from the app and when I got there there were no other drinks in the pick up area and it was slow. One of the workers was just on her phone where everyone can see her. Very unprofessional. When I asked if they had my drink they did have it waiting on their counter but just couldn’t put it in the pick up area for me for some reason.

Как всегда вовремя! Случайно увидели это заведение, а кофе лишним не бывает. Тем более, что эспрессо в Штатах далеко не везде найдёшь. Стандарты качества и сервиса на высоте.
