Always a good experience....food never misses...parking can be tough, but worth it. (Basque cake !)
Amazing food and service. Hundred percent. Would recommend Luis with our waiter and gave us outstanding service.
Always an an excellent experience at this restaurant. A stand out in North County San Diego area.
What a wonderful restaurant! The decor is so cool and creative. The menu is great. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. We had such fun evening with friends. Highly recommend. It was one of the best meals we've had in awhile. Such a great experience!
Phenomenal dishes, cozy environment, kind service. Definitely leave room for the basque cake.
Really great food but sub-standard service (particularly for a Monday night). It should never take 10 minutes to come to your table (we were thirsty) and take another 15+ minutes to get your drinks. Service matters. The shrimp was great. The Paella was delicious. Great food overall.
My goodness, this restaurant is incredible! Every bite is always delicious. This visit, we had the tuna carpaccio, anchovies and the artichokes for the first time, and we highly recommend them! The tomato bread, olives, potatoes, and bread were divine as always. Thank you, Valentina for another memorable meal.
Excellent food esp the mushrooms, service also top notch. Very noisy, hard surfaces with tables close together
We love Valentina! The food and service is just incredible! We live a 50 minute drive away, but still make sure to come back several times a year.
Our second visit to Valentina which was amazing and as good as our first. We brought friends this visit in order to order more dishes and be able to try all the flavors. The bravas potatoes were a huge fan favorite as well as the Sea Bass. Our wine steward and server was exceptional as well. We will be back!

Was bummed that mussels weren't on the menu anymore, but the clams did not disappoint. My favorite date spot with my daughter.
I was greeted by name by the hostess upon arrival and was seated immediately even though I made a last-minute change to my reservation time. Service was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. I ordered a Caesar salad and the wienerschnitzel. The Caesar dressing was a little bland only because it was diluted by the water on the lettuce. An extra side of dressing fixed that. The schnitzel was the largest portion I'd ever seen and the two sauces, one mustard and one lingonberry, complemented each other perfectly. I just wish there was some spetzli or other starch included. For dessert I had the Basque cake, which was phenomenal. Don't miss it. My beverage was a glass of sangria which was light and refreshing. The atmosphere was super friendly. I dined alone but struck up conversations with the couples on either side of me. The room was noisy with conversation by 7 pm but in a good way. The only downside is that there's only street parking, which was a bit challenging but shouldn't deter one from going to this wonderful restaurant.
Valentina used to be my favorite neighborhood gem Restaurant. Sadly, I no longer feel the same. The music is “energetic“ which equals very loud. The food quality is erratic. The service is OK. The price is quite high for quality. Happy hour is only allowed on the sidewalk or at the bar area. The sidewalk is great in the summer, but not in the winter. The bar area is very loud.
Music was loud which bothered the one couple dining with us. Then when the restaurant got crowded, the noise level was even louder. Thus the 4 star rating. The food and service was excellent.
Excellent service and setting. Food came out fast and our server did a great job recommending certain dishes and pairings with wine.
