Excellent on line retailer for fine wine. Wines that are for sale on this site are from around the world with a major focus on Napa Valley wines to include the high end limited production Boutique wines. Being situated in Michigan, it is very tough if not impossible to find many of the wines that are carried on this site where pricing is quite fair in comparison to the other on line retailers. In my personal instance, I have bought numerous cases of French Bordeaux, Napa Cabs, Barolos and Brunellos from Bounty Hunter where service has been excellent and the wine shipment and more importantly the packaging has been top notch with all wines being delivered safely and in great shape. As you become a regular buyer you receive a Scout (person assigned to your account) who looks out after your orders and assists you with various service requests like finding unique wine that is currently not in stock at their warehouse. I consider this a major plus having a one stop person to go to for your wine needs. As a tip, you need to join the mailing list to get notified of their regular wine specials and receive their quarterly sales magazine that has excellent coupons that can be applied to wine purchases. Overall if you are into fine wine than this retailer needs to be on your short list of Merchants for obtaining wine like this. Highly recommend.

This review is for an online order I made on June 7th, 2019 and my scout was Arnaldo. I ordered a Hakushu 12yr Single Malt Whiskey on their online store as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who lives in Michigan. My order was on its way to MI when it was flagged as fraud and was shipped back to the sender in California due to the reason: I made an account online under my name (and yes I am 21 years old), my mom offered to pay for it as her gift and it was set to send to my boyfriend's house in another state. I sent in an email on the day of ordering about 3 hours later requesting if it is possible to change the shipping address to my place in California instead because I was afraid of complications like this that might arise. I did not receive a reply at all and the next email i got from them was a tracking notice and that my package has been sent on 6/10/2019. The tracking stated my package has been requested to return to the sender on 6/14/2019. Upon calling and asked what is up with the order, Arnaldo told me that it was flagged and is on its way back to the sender however, he can change its destination to the address I emailed him (my house in California) since he had received my email. He said he tried calling but I didn't answer phone since it was an unknown number but he never sent me an email to notify when he couldn't get ahold of me via phone but clearly received my email since he got my new address (????). He then proceeded to assure me my package will be rerouted to my home address in California and it will arrive today 6/20/2019. Well guess what, today came and I haven't receive any tracking notification nor is the package even here since it is now 10:58pm at the time I write this review. The tracking stated that it has been successfully sent back and was received by the sender on 6/18/2019. I called them up one more time in the afternoon today when it was getting suspicious and Arnaldo gave me the news that my order has been cancelled all together and that they already received the returned package. No emails were sent to notify me and no phone calls (by now I knew what their number was so I would've picked up). He told me I will receive a full refund and I requested an email confirmation of the refund and he replied I will be sent one by the end of today (6/20/2019). Well, no emails of confirmation were sent but I guess technically he still have until midnight today to do it which I highly doubt. Now my refund is in limbo with no documentations stating whether it will go through or not, everything was discussed on the phone. This has been the worst experience and mind you I did pay everything in full and the payment went through and this ordeal lasted 2 whole weeks with empty words and no actions. It wasn't like I ordered this super last minute and now my boyfriend's birthday is next week and I will have to look for another vendor to buy the whiskey from. I have all the tracking information and order confirmation to verify the above dates and series of events. A waste of time and effort and Arnaldo didn't even sound sincere nor apologetic on the phone. 0/5.
