“Charlew’s Tap House totally knocked it out of the park for our family dinner! The food was amazing—the giant meatball alone deserves a shout-out—and the kids were so entertained they didn’t even ask to play in the arcade (which NEVER happens). It was such a relief to find a spot that’s both kid-friendly and budget-friendly without sacrificing quality. No chaos, no meltdowns, just great service, good food, and happy vibes all around. “I had the pleasure of dining at Karline's Restaurant & Bar on Saturday evening, and it was an unforgettable experience! It was our first time visiting, and we were warmly greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was exceptional - attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. He truly made our dining experience stand out. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of our evening. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer, and oh, the sauce was sublime! For our main courses, we opted for the Pesto Salmon in garlic herb linguine and the Pan Seared Bistro Filet. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. To cap off the meal, I indulged in the crème brûlée for dessert, Amazing!. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, service, and ambiance at Karline's. We will most certainly be back and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!“

“The Place That Sparked It All. This place is the place that got me started on my reviews. 11 years ago.

We came back to where it all began. Nello’s helped start the fire—so tonight wasn’t just dinner, it was a full-circle moment.

The bread? Soft and crisp.
The prosciutto and melon? A little gamey, but good.
The chicken piccata was lemony perfection.
The alfredo? Creamy, grilled just right—solid 4.5, maybe even 5.
Even the salad held its own.

The antipasto lost us with tuna juice bleeding across the plate.
Wine list wasn’t offered—we had to ask. They didn’t have my wife’s choice, subbed it with Cupcake Moscato, then charged $11 a glass for a $9 bottle.

But the service was otherwise tight.
Drinks never went dry.
Course progression? Elegant.

And just when we thought the old-school charm might carry it through…
The illusion fell when the check came.

“How is this place not completely packed for lunch? I tried the chicken Pronto pasta today. SO DELICIOUS!!! the pasta was cooked perfectly, the chicken was not dried out like some places. The garlic bread! I could have made myself sick and eaten a whole loaf. Crispy exterior and soft interior 👌 FIRE. I can't say enough about how delicious this meal was. I also have to shout out their chicken ranch wrap I got about two weeks ago. The ranch tasted fresh and wasn't watery and drippy. I'm on the go a lot and don't need my car getting messy with watered down Sauces. You won't regret your next meal here.“

“Dinner date for our 9 year anniversary was absolutely perfect thanks to Mike at Cafe Paradisio! Everything was delicious, we had reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival, didn’t wait even 2 minutes for water and our drink order. I had red wine and husband had a beer both came out at the same time promptly. We ordered our dishes and while waiting for our meals we could hear other guests around us gushing in joy about how amazing their dishes were! Once ours arrived we dug in and then HAD to try eachothers too; both were above and beyond incredible! If you haven’t been you need to go! We will now be making this our date night place! Husband had the curry & I had the chicken Marsala *it wouldn’t let me load my photos so I’ll add them in the comments.“

“We had THE most amazing experience at Mosaic on Thanksgiving Day. I began in the food service industry when I was 13 yrs old and have worked in a range of restaurants (but most were in the higher end style). Every part of our experience was exemplary. Service was on point, attentive but unobtrusive. Food was equally impressive with presentation and flavor components. My Mom is not an easy guest, but she was satisfied with options and adaptability. Thanksgiving (as well as any "special holiday" is always a challenge in the industry.... Our experience was absolutely exemplary. I can not recommend Mosaic enough, it is now our "Go To" between Sac/Davis and the Rogue Valley.“
