Peacock Chinese Restaurant

This sucks iv been coming here since i was a baby but they changed ownership and the food is not that great at least where it used to be, hands down they had the best wonton soup iv ever had in my life and now its just sucks, some of the food is still alright and the new staff are super friendly but it just sucks I’ve been eating at this restaurant for years. It was one of my favorite Chinese places even how expensive they got it was still worth the price, now I would much rather have Panda Express.

I ordered the broccoli beef dinner to go.
The fried rice was 25% still white rice.
The chow main was 85% noddles.
And the broccoli was under cooked.
I was a regular customer of the old owners.
Unless they find a better cook, I won't be back.

recently stopped by this Chinese restaurant, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The wontons, in particular, were incredible—perfectly wrapped, silky, and packed with flavor. They alone are worth the visit.

The rest of the meal was just as impressive, with balanced sauces, great textures, and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

Whether you’re craving a quick bite or a sit-down meal with family or friends, this place is absolutely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of those wontons.

Great environment and ambiance when you walk in. I was greeted and seated when I arrived and throughout the dinner service I felt like I was treated like family. Highly recommend and easily the best Chinese food in Anderson!

I really enjoyed the new Peacock food. I always get Mongolian beef and beef chow fun. The Mongolian beef is spicy and very good. The meat was soft with a good portion of beef with not a huge amount of onions. Beef chow fun was delicious and flavorful. Pot stickers were delicious also. The bathroom is clean unlike before. The new look of the interior is very clean and inviting. Customer service was excellent. Thank you for the delicious dinner. I grew up in San Francisco and it was hard to find good Mongolian beef out here. I do miss the crispy duck tho. Thank you once again. I hope you stay for many years to come.

They have obviously changed hands and the food is not at all the same and not in a good way.
Sad as we really enjoyed the food there before.
Not our go to Chinese food anymore.

Our family loves coming to Peacock. Their food is good and staff is nice. We get the family dinner of 5 or more when more of us come. It's delicious and we even have extra to take home.

I LOVE the wonton soup here! Any other Chinese restaurant's wonton soup I compared to theirs. I have yet to find one that comes close. I wish I could get the recipe since I live in another state and miss their food...

The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the food is delicious. They clearly use fresh ingredients. It tasted like the meal was made from scratch. The chicken was cut smaller than I'm used to, but overall, it was great!
