Good portionsVegetarian options: If you're ok with cheese they can do a lot of the dishes without the meat

Since relocating to the Redding area in 2021, my wife and I have been frequent customers of the Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in Anderson, CA. We have often brought out-of-town guests there to enjoy the food and drinks along with me using it for business lunches on occasion. However, both my wife and I were embarrassed last night when we took our guests (a former state park ranger and his wife) to the Anderson location and the food was served cold and/or luke warm at best. It tasted bland and the usual post-meal desert was not served. The meal with tip was over $90 dollars. I am not sure what has happened at that site since it seems that it has all new staff as it may be under new management. Any insights regarding what has happened to the food there would be appreciated as I can no longer recommend it to my friends and family.

The food here is excellent! I was pleasantly surprised. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are perfect and you will get a big plate of food. The decor is a bit dated but the restaurant is clean.

I've never had mexican food this bad before. It just has no taste, I mean not even salt. Its bizarre. Even the taco shell tasted bland. Imagine boiling chicken and beans and sticking them on the plate. If that wasn't enough, I pulled a long hair out of my mouth from the taco. Digusting. Oh, and its expensive. Minimum $20 a plate. The place looks nice, and the staff are friendly but trust me, you don't want to eat there.

This Was the worst Food I ever had.we ordered. One enchilada hamburger beef. Rice and beans. The beans from a can rice cold and hard. Hamburger taste like dog food. Which I Never ate. It wasn't beef. Thou. My husband had a tamale rice and beans. Wow I've had my friends that are not Mexican make better ones. Suggestions. Cook real fried beans and rice. Don't sure Crap. I'm So Embarrassed for you. The only thing I liked was one of the salsa's.I Know you need to make money. But I should have went to Taco Bell. Way better. Thanks for trying.
