I have spent more than 3 months at difference hospitals, for the last 3 years, one month at a time(no, I wasn't fat, something else)ANd I would dream about my "Angels". It may sound dopey , but, when I was able to use my walker to get into the reastaurt I was greeted wonderfully......they have no idea who I am, just a plain customer, go in and find out for yourselves. OH, and BTW their food is FANTASTIC ....

First I was tired didn’t want to go home and cook and the food is decent nothing to rave about just a meal well as there was 2 other tables occupied and the waitress sat me down Acoss from four men ok I know men can talk but these guys made my experience there awful the other people got up and left , all they were saying very loud you can hear them in the whole restaurant they were dropping the F bomb like that all to the vocabulary it was none stop and to add talking bad about some lady they knew . I had enough I didn’t go to a bar to have dinner so I got up and told the girl about it . Her response was to protect her self by saying it’s not my fault .. so I said to yes it is this is a place people can eat and talk to each other unless that’s how your household dropped the F bomb and being loud . Not petty I’m paying for ambience, service and food and I expected to be treated like a customer but putting me with those guys when they’re screaming and yelling and saying the F word was inappropriate and all she could say it wasn’t her fault and nothing more not saying I’m so sorry can I put you way over here where you can’t hear them or would you like to sit outside or anything? No suggestions so my great opinion these people have no customer service skills. I would not let nobody talk like that in my restaurant with customers sitting around that are not used to hearing that F bomb. . Yes, I paid, and I got the out of there because that was wrong for her to sit me with those guys when I’m all alone, and I wanted to eat my food pleasantly, yeah if the place is nice and service is good you over look what the food taste like , sauce taste like tomatoe sauce

Well, let's start off by saying that for a family owned business, they don't put a lot of effort into it ! At least up front! The best worker is the kid , a little girl about 8 . She refilled my drink , cleaned tables, and rolled napkins. The teen girl could learn a thing or two from her, for starters try not being on your phone . When you have guests on the floor that need stuff like refills . Know let's get to my food , I ordered a Mega Burrito ? 16.95 with your choice of meat , I chose the shrimp and came with 4. My son ordered the fish Burrito 14.95 . My sons fish Burrito was bigger than mine the (mega ), which obviously isn't named mega for the size . It's for the price $$$When I received my bill, my burrito was 20.95 . I don't say anything because the service is slow, I wanted to leave. But I hope you don't expect local support treating locals in this manor .I wish you all the best ? But this is 4 more local customers that won't be returning... bummer ( I was never told about an up charge for shrimp ?)

Generally just a good classic Mexican place, dear salsa is delicious and their chips taste homemade, I had a wonderful time and I felt the prices were good for the amount of food I got, and personally, I'm just generally a big fan, if I lived closer I'd probably get food here way more often. 9/10 in my bookParking: There's a small parking lot with not very many spaces, so the parking situation isn't the best

Food was good. Service wasn't intrusive. The place was okay but I wish the tables were a little bigger.

Super casual roadside diner. I've rolled in 15- minutes before closing and they had my delicious food to me in 10-minutes. You week be rubbing shoulders with locals and other travelers to the area.

The food was so authentic and delicious. The flan for dessert was the best we've ever eaten. This will be a choice dinner spot every visit we make to Angels Camp.

People are super nice, the service was quick (I was alone in the restaurant) and the food is good for a mountain town. This is the better spot to go to.

The food was not just the run of the mill Mexican food, dishes are very authentic and very tasty, prices are reasonable. There are a few Mexican food spots in this area and this is the best one. The staff, Olga and family are super nice and friendly, highly recommended AAA+Parking: Only a few spots and they have a lot of take out business

Two friends and I were going to an event in Angels Camp and we wanted to prolong the evening with dinner out. I asked a local friend for a recommendation. She told me that the restautant scene in Angels Camp had really gone downhill and only gave a lukewarm recommendation to this Mexican place. So we went there. Things started off well with margaritas made with agave wine--not our preferred method but acceptable. The salsa was made with pallid supermarket tomateos but had a nice kick to it. With the entrees, everything went downhill. One companion ordere two street tacos. But when delivered she declared that one taco was made with chicken, while she had ordered carnitas. The waitress assured her it was pork. However, it was only a lump of boiled pork and had none of the crisp texture required of carnitas. The waitress did not fix the problem. Both my other friend and I had a bit of guacamole on our plates, and it was inedible, made with reeking overripe avocados. Again we complainined and nothing was done about it. My friend, who is vegetarian, had the cheese enchiladas and she said they were acceptable. I ordered the fajitas. Huge mistake. The so-called "steak" seemed to be some kind of thinly sliced processed meat, the chicken little slivers of a tasteless white meat. Only the shrimp seemed to have had any recent attention, and they were undercooked. Nothing had the fast-grilled flavor that is the hallmark of fajitas. Avoid this dish at all costs. And any restaurant that makes so many mistakes is not to be trusted.
