This place likes to nickel and dime ya. They won’t tell ya until you get your bill. Food is ok/good. Plenty of parking. We got a caprese salad and the server said would you like me to split it. We just answered sure. Come to find out we got hit with a $4 charge. I get they gotta wash dishes but at least tell people your gonna ding them. Also surcharge on credit cards $3 in a good restaurant they will just hide the processing fee in the cost of food. No one wants all the dings in the end.

Love to eat here on special occasions, the cake was so good I found a similar recipe and make it once a year.

Service was excellent. The server was so nice!!!
Food was average. Chicken saltimbocca was dry, plain , and very expensive. Bolognese sauce was just an ordinary meat sauce . Manicotti shells were hard toward the ends
The Focaccia really hardens up if it sits for more than three minutes. It is a nice atmosphere that’s for sure. But the back had a terrible odor. I don’t know what the heck it was.

Food was great. I was a little under the weather so I'm sure it was better than I thought.

We're staying in Angels Camp and wanted something close. Lucky for us, the Cruscos restaurant was a great choice. Every hostess, waitress, etc. was so welcoming and cheery. It was just what we needed after a very long day of car travel and no food. My husband scarfed down the chicken fiorentino. I wasn't super hungry so I got a large spinach (w/pear, walnut, cranberry) salad and added chicken. It was super and a lot of juicy, sliced, grilled chicken. I had to change my order of minestrone from bowl to cup and still ate the last of the salad the next day.

This was seriously some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten!! We ordered to-go, and the wonderful girl over the phone was not only nice, but she seemed to love her job! We ordered two of the chicken tortellini and got one without mushrooms, and ordered hot sausage on the side for hubby to add sausage to his. We also got a side of focaccia bread and when dipped in the vinegar/oil mix: holy yum!! The last thing we ordered was the baked brie which was the absolute best! It comes with an amazing orange sauce reduction, sliced pears, cranberries and walnuts, and crispy sliced bread.. all I can say is WOW!! This place did not disappoint! even taking it to go, we got back to our hotel and everything was still warm and amazingly delicious! Don't delay!! Eat there NOW! The restaurant itself looks like a fun and friendly place to sit and eat, calm and relaxed.

Food was very good, sevice was very good, atmosphere is great, but the reason I'm giving 3 stars is due to the fact, that food was fairly pricey and I tipped the waiter $20 cash, but on top of that I was charged another $27 apparently for mandatory tip, last time I check tips are not a law in California, also these places pay waiters less than minimum wage with the excuse they're going to get good tips, I think tipping $20 dollars for his service was great, I don't consider myself a cheapskate yet I'm not wealthy either.
As costumers we all need to gather in common practice and reject those funny clauses being established by the service industry, tips are out of kind and gratitude should not be imposed pay your workers enough.

Twice my family visited a high school friend in Angels Camp. Both times we spent at least one meal at Crusco's. The first time upon our arrival we went straight to Crusco's. The staff are excellent and seem to know their local community on a personal, friendly level. While Italian is often lower on my scale of preferred cuisine, the chef at Crusco's adds enough flair and fusion to make it interesting even to my hesitant tastes (the Pasta Jambalaya is stellar, ask for extra peppers for even more kick).

When visiting Angels Camp, a stop at Crusco's for a fine meal is highly recommended.

⚜️Picture this: a late lunch with my Mum at Crusco's Ristorante in Angels Camp. I expected a nice meal but got a clam chowder experience that could make Poseidon cry!

When that bowl arrived, I swear I heard angels singing. The rich, velvety broth and tender clams were simply divine. Mum had a colorful spinach salad, highly recommend.

By the end, I felt like I’d run a marathon—an emotional one, of course. If heaven had a menu, that clam chowder would be at the top! If you're in Angels Camp, don’t miss Crusco's; your taste buds will thank you!😋🤤🕶️

We had a wonderful dinner at Crusco’s! I ordered the clam chowder and caprese salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The chowder was creamy and flavorful with plenty of tender clams—comforting without being too heavy. The caprese salad was fresh and vibrant, with juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a drizzle of balsamic that tied it all together beautifully.

My son had the kids' chicken tenders, and they were a hit! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—he devoured them. The portion was generous, and it’s great to see quality food even on the kids' menu.

The staff was kind and attentive, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!
