First time customers. We were very confused when they set down the waiter's notepad to write down your own order. The service was excruciatingly slow, we were there for over an hour and a half, and an hour of that time was spent waiting for service & food.We ordered miso soups, a basic salmon & avocado roll, a poke bowl, and a teriyaki sushi burrito. Everything was fantastic except for the burrito. My partner & I took 1 bite each and it was just not good at all.The waiter never came to check how our food was. We had to stop her and ask for utensils to eat our food, and for the bill later on. I mentioned to her that the burrito wasn't good, and she was surprised and told us it's their #1 most popular item, but sometimes it just doesn't come out right. The $18 burrito was still on our bill, which only had 2 bites taken from it. I went to the front to talk to them about it, and the owner blamed us because we ordered raw sushi with our cooked burrito and that we "ruined our taste" and it was OUR fault for not liking it.I asked for the burrito to be taken off of our bill, and made it clear that everything else was very delicious, especially the miso soup. He said "all sales are final" but we never paid for anything yet? I've never heard of a restaurant doing that. Sometimes food just doesn't work out for people, but they shouldn't be stuck with the burden of paying for it. He finally offered 50% off of the burrito so we just took that and left since I wasn't trying to argue with him, I just didn't want to pay for something that was expensive and uneaten. I wanted to love the place, even with the slow service, but left with much disappointment. I hope this changes.

Usually the saying goes “if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it’s probably a duck.” Shiro Ninja Boba - Poke - Ramen Bar (lol. What a name. It has to be written out in its entirety.) has all the traits that would normally be an at best, Americanized, Asian-esque fast food restaurant: the name itself, the usage of the stereotypical “Chinese bamboo” font, mismatched decor of all sorts of Asian (and non-Asian) things sprinkled without rhyme or reason inside. And yet, curiosity got the better of me, and so I went in with friends for dinner on the way back from the Sierra Nevadas.It's….surprisingly, a good, solid ramen stop. The broth is flavorful. The noodles are the right amount of firmness. There js a good mixture of toppings. If this shop was opened in the Bay, it would be above average. since we're two hours out from San Jose in a town with a few thousand people max, it's worth the five star rating. It's worth making a stop here for food, and not just for its name. The milk tea didn't quite hit the same way, unfortunately, but it's still pretty good. My friend’s teriyaki chicken and rice was…well, very standard teriyaki chicken so that was that. Stick to the ramen. It’s what the Shiro Ninja would do. Probably.

Glad to find this Japanese style restaurant nearby. Love their Chirashi and Sashimi. Very satisfying, the size and quality. Teriyaki chicken is okay. Place the order on DoorDash and pick it up in scheduled time.

The food was delicious and they have a great variety of food and drinks. The ramen was spectacular, it has a homemade taste, unlike what we’ve tried from other restaurants. Definitely worth the drive!

On its own, the food was average at best. When you factor in the price, this place is below average. We ordered ramen and a pole bowl. The salmon was poor quality (didn't smell fresh), and the chicken in the ramen was tough as leather. Alao a 20 minute wait for takeout.

Food was average at best. Teriyaki chicken was a frozen chicken role with sauce drizzled on top. Yuk. Food was all at once, soup, salad entree etc. Service very slow. Lunch took two hours and was simple lunch offering.

Fried veggie rolls hit the spot! Great flavors, the fried sweet potato went perfect with the spicy mayo.
