Horrible I just moved to the area been 1 week. Heard good things of this place soon as I walked it the host I'm sure is the manager gave me BIG attitude saying we don't do walk-ins I swear I didn't know. I came at 4 right when they opened so, she said well since we not busy I guess I can take your order. I remained pleasant with a smile. Dhe still has an attitude no don't pay now we will call you once it's done then pay.Food Review!Good price no flavor for steak I ordered a simple burrito.
Overall 5 star. The food portions are enormous. It's NOT hoity-toity. It's a busy family style restaurant with delicious homestyle dishes. The Tortilla soup is a wonderful. Dishes are generously garnished with large portions of guacamole & sour cream. You do need to request(pay) for chips & salsa, but this is a place where you should check yourself on how much you nibble before your meal because your food comes out fast & I repeat, portions are large ?
First and last visit .Lackluster. Very dark during the day and the decor is dated. Staff is ok but not the most friendly. Felt pressured to get our order in. The restaurant was less than half full so not quite sure why the big hurry to order. No free chips and salsa. We did pay for some and I do not recommend. Chips needed salt. They were thick and not very tasty. Salsa was decent but not enough to mask the shortcomings of the chips. Rice and beans were not very flavorful.
Bland. Fajitas were dry and over cooked. Servers are decent and relatively friendly. I witnessed the owner verbally attack a guest sitting behind us for brushing her hair. It was really inappropriate.
Love it love it love it Staff is awesome and so is the food I was going every week last year This year not so much because of the gas prices Im saving money so the family and I can go get the seafood tacos and their awesome drinks from the bar
Great food, good service. Have been here twice; both times sat the bar. Had them recommend a tequila to sip with my dinner, some of the best tequila I have ever had and it was a decent price too
Great local place. Very friendly. Could be more generous with the salsa and chips tho but I am not hating lol.
This has been a family favorite since it opened! The food is always fresh & flavorful, service is friendly, and the drinks are STRONG! It can definitely get a little busy now as it's grown in popularity, and it's not the biggest space so I highly suggest calling ahead to check on wait times, especially Friday-Saturday. Their horchata is really good as is the BBQ chicken quesadilla and shrimp fajita super burrito.
My experience at Cucina Medina was not that good the food was mediocre and no more complementary chips and salsa service was so-and-so I will not be returning to the restaurant
Super tasty food. Large quantities that were full of flavor. Fajita veggies were done to perfection. Had a beef fajita burrito and #20 - Enchilada/Chimichunga (sp?) Combo. Chips and Salsa was delicious as well - crunchy chips and the spicy salsa was very good.
Been going there for over 10 years. I've seen their ups and downs and still come back. Was disappointed to see that they now charge for chips and salsa. First Mexican place I've seen do this. Times can't be that bad. Don't lose your customers over a pennies.
Where to start! The chips were too thick and were salt less- I had the veggie fajitas, which offered a great selection of vegetables, but it was very bland, without flavor. The rice must have been washed with dirty socks because it was a very funky taste. The blank beans were hard and flavorless- I've had better from 'A Dozen Cousins' canned beans. The only upside was the friendly and cordial service- I won't be going back-
Cons: food is... not great. Veggie fajitas were bland. Chips are a little too thick. Shredded chicken is DRY. And the Chile relleno smells like a warm wet blanket? Pros: Kind, attentive and friendly staff. Food came out very quickly.
First time going here and we were very pleased. The prices are reasonable, good portions and everything was great. We will be going back soon.
Microwaved fish in the fish tacos. Chicken burrito with nothing but chicken in it. Steamed veggies on the veggie taco salad that completely made everything go soggy. Not a single good item in my family's order. We won't be back.
