I know there is a new store in Brentwood. If the situation does not improve at this store, at least I will have a new store to choose from.

My recent trip to this Costco was a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction, even amidst a slight price increase on a few staple items and a bustling weekend crowd. Despite the busy atmosphere, the availability of various selections of items is always impressive, with the added excitement of discovering a few new additions to their inventory. What truly impressed me, however, was the efficiency of the self-checkout line. Despite the long queues at the traditional registers, opting for the self-checkout made the payment process a breeze, saving me precious time and hassle. The seamless experience reaffirmed why Costco remains my go-to destination for bulk shopping. Overall, despite the challenges of a busy day and price adjustments, Costco continues to deliver on its promise of convenience and value.

It's Costco, what do people expect? When I had signed up, it was quick and easy! I guess only negative was the service on my phone so I had to get on their WiFi lol. Shopping there? The selection is crazy. Huge variety, bang for your buck if you're shopping for a family. Samples? Sheesh, I'll be back for thirds. Yes, there are insanely long lines at times, depending on when you go, but that is expected! The staff? They are all very helpful and they are everywhere, you can't not find one if you need assistance. Prices are good, lines up with today's value on things, but definitely a bit cheaper if you think about it. Clothes? SUPER cheap in price, but pretty good quality. Hungry after all that shopping and walking around? The food court is cheap too! $2 for a huge slice of pizza, or a few bucks for a chicken bake, or even $10 for a whole XL pizza; that's AMAZING. You can not beat that anywhere. Not only is it cheap, but the flavor is great, too! By the looks of it, if Costco keeps it up, I'll probably just be a lifetime member lol, take my money Costco!!!

The manager at this location was very rude. Poor customer service and was giving attitude for a mistake her cashier made. Will never come here again.

I would simply like to give a s/o to Managers Sam and Laura. I had an unfortunate situation while shopping in this location. However, when I approached Sam he was empathetic and helpful. Laura helped seal the deal with her professionalism all while being quick and kind! Thank you both!

Very very crowded, everyone there seems to be in a rush, don't say excuse me, just push there way in, the cashier are the same.way too, guess they ate working just to get paid, went to Sam's Club, much better service and environment.

New menu item! the double chocolate chunk cookie is very good! the outside edges are crunchy and the inside is soft and melty.

It's so funny how when a lady asked me to apply for an executive club membership, I said "no" because I don't come here that often. I've been coming here a lot more and more than what I said to the lady when I first applied for membership years ago. I really love that there is a Costco close to me. This Costco has great selection of items and I always get what I need. The one con about going to Costco is everything is big. What I mean is if I need just a carton of milk it comes in a pack of three. But the price is right. Costco always has great holiday items. Costumer service is ok. I rarely need to ask for help. Unless I go to Optical or their foodcourt area and then when you check out. That's the only real reaction with employees at Costco.

So as friends, family and Co-Workers (Yeah I am talking about you) will attest we have a obsession with Costco. So much so we have a set of Costco Rules we live by (after the review). This is your typical Costco and it flows in a clockwise direction from the entrance. You have your typical array of electronics and season items int he front and center and work you way back to the meat and freezer sections As I stated in my review of the the Mountain View location, we do have some rules to help keep our obsession under control: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

This one is hard to judge. The store is fine, the issue with Costco is when you order online and have an appliance shipped to you. We were out a refrigerator for 2 weeks. The first attempt at delivery resulted in a cracked base, where the warehouse strapped the base where it says DO NOT STRAP. Then when the order was rejected, Costco Logistics was contacted on a Friday early afternoon. We were told it would be expedited and to expect a new delivery the following Tuesday. I called the following Monday to confirm a time only to discover the representative from Friday NEVER ENTERED THE REPLACEMENT. It was only reordered on that Monday morning. The second delivery attempt was the following Thursday, when it was discovered there was a huge hole in the box and a major dent in the front. After 2 failed attempts and over 2 weeks without a refrigerator, we decided to cancel and take our business elsewhere for failure for the warehouse to check for damage before loading. Logistics didn't communicate with each other too. NEVER ordering appliances from Costco again. It may be cheaper, but there's no guarantee you're going to receive it undamaged or on time.

I have been an Executive Business member since Costco's inception and even when it first started over in Martinez over in CC county. Sooo a long time! Lately, I have been disappointed in Costco and trying to think of I can justify the 180.00 ( 120. Executive and 60. adding employees) which I just paid for membership renewal. The new bag of rice was filled with little white worms- eeeewww! And they accepted the return as I went right back, and they knew the rice as they had others return it too! So it was a problem they obviously knew about! I also saw one bag that had a corner gnawed on and open and when I looked to the side I see a bunch of mouse traps that were set off already!!!! Ewwwww! Now Costco is know for their good beef and the only one this Dr was saying that checks for Jakob Crutzfeld ( form of mad cow disease). I overheard 2 doctors talking about it- idk if it is really true but I only bought beef from Costco after that lol! I never had a problem until today and I like Costco's usually fresh meat. The ground beef they told us was freshly ground and just put out as we were waiting for it to come out. Date stated packed 11/16/23 but sell by date was 11/17/23 I noticed afterwards( one day after?). Every single package was red meat in the outside but the ground beef inside was a sickly brown! It looked like the old butcher truck of mixing the old meat with the fresh meat covering it in a very thin layer! I spent 120.00 plus in ground beef to pack away for the winter( I package it into smaller freezer bags for a big family). I took pictures for proof and called the Costco manager. First, I was told by the first person it is perfectly normal to be brown on the inside! I told her it browns due to oxygen gets to it and oxidizes which turns it brown. So if fresh why didn't the oxygen get to the outer layer and it was red but how did it get to the inner layer only? She was quiet and handed the call to the manager which said it was impossible because it is grounded and they are known for fresh meat! I said I thought so too since I was waiting for the packages that came out in front of me! Anyway, I have to take the 35 packages I formed out of 4 big back packs at 30.00 approx each ( just in case they did not return my money- not wasting it then) today and hours worth of work all back despite having pictures to show each package! Waste of my time on so many fronts and my money. And each of my grocery bills run from 300-500. each and I go 2-3 times a month( big family and main grocery store I go to)- so I am disappointed. And I'm disappointed by the manager like didn't believe it could happen like basically inferring I must be lying! And they could check my account I never returned any meat before and bought plenty! I did return the rice bag though with worms! So this is a warning for ALL Costco members to check their foods! I forgot to mention their corn also spoiled sometimes with mold on the ends of the cob which you can't see til you open it!!! And for some reason their milk seems to spoil quickly these days! COSTCO you have to do BETTER!!! Just lately noticing these problems-never before! Updated to add: Costco did refund my money at least. So good about that. The staff at the counter was great and helpful and not like the manager.

Their latest Food Court Roast Beef sandwich is hefty but, they are using pickled red onions and too much mustard confusing the taste buds into wondering if they're enjoying it or not. By the time we drove back home, unloaded the car from our purchases from Costco and settled down to eat the extra wet stuff rendered the bread too soggy far too soon. This could be an excellent purchase except for that. It's a very large sandwich and can easily be split up into two without either person feeling cheated.

Usually very happy with my experiences shopping at this Costco but the past couple of times an employee named Shoulaine finds a way to make my experiences very unpleasant. I feel like she goes out her way to be very rude. I go to her line and say hi and she completely ignores me , makes a face and just continues to scan my items with a horrible attitude. I caught her rolling her eyes when she saw me walking up with my items . I felt like she was annoyed because I had two carts full of stuff but at the end of the day it's her job?? I hope management see's this and talks to her because I'm sure I'm not the only person that Shoulaine is very rude to.

Some Costco employees are rude that they over so checking customers membership at the self checkout counters. Unlike sams club even with their scan and go, they're not invasive as Costco staffs are.
