The beef was extremely dry and burnt.bthe ribs were slightly burnt as well. The portion size was small for $25. One highlight the potato salad was great but I won't return.

Disappointing... macaroni is so dry, meat is drowning in bbq sauce and tri tip is nothing but fat.

My husband and I are very picky but this place is amazing! They loaded up our plates and we're so friendly. He loves the greens five stars all around! A must try .

Stopped here for lunch...how have we not been here in the years we've been coming to Antioch (where we boat the delta). Husband had the tri tip plate and I had the rib plate. Both of us had the dirty rice as the side. Tri tip was cooked perfect with a nice bbq finish. The ribs were fall off the bone....so full of flavor. Their BBQ sauce was phenomenal. Dirty rice was sooo good! The guys here were very attentive - not just "here's your food"...they checked to see if everything was ok. So, summary - go here - best damned BBQ I've had in a long time.

I am very happy with my experience with Freddy B's BBQ for thanksgiving meal catering at my establishment. Not only the food was delicious, but the ordering and connecting with someone to coordinate was smooth as pie. I would highly recommend considering ordering from Freddy B's BBQ for your next catering needs. I know i would be more than happy to work with them again.

I decided to try this place after picking my daughter's car up from the auto shop across the road. I'm big on Yelp reviews, so I was nervous. Seems to be a "family" owned business. It was th day before Thanksgiving when I went. I didn't smell anything, so that made me nervous also. I ordered a 2-way with potato salad & dirty rice. He gave me beans, so I went back in & they didn't hesitate to give me potato salad also. They were very apologetic. So I had totale a test in the car. Although I waited about 12 minutes for my food, it was cold. The ribs were room temp, but the links were COLD. The meat on the ribs falls off the bone & is seasoned well. Even the cold links were good. The potato salad is good, just a little too crunchy for me (I only like a little relish). The dirty rice was cool. I tried the beans since they are here.. nothing special taste out the can. Overall, good food, decent price (I think I paid $23)

Me and my sister and her daughter along with Chiffona’s goddaughter, we all drove up to Antioch to have brunch at Monica’s. Which wasn’t a very pleasant place to go. We were treated like dirt. But that’s another story. We drove over to Freddy B’s to buy BBQ. We drove from S. F. That was a long drive. But worth the drive when we got there. Prices were so reasonable I bought a little bit of everything and it took me back to my moms kitchen with her sisters cooking Sunday dinner at my grandmothers place. Every thing taste home made from my grandmothers kitchen. Thanks for bringing those memories back.Parking: I really didn’t look at the parking spaces,I was more interested in get into Freddy B’s BBQ Restaurant, in Antioch, Ca.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is.

I eat bbq all over the states. I travel a lot for work. WORST BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD. I ordered the tri-tip dinner and peach cobler. Greasy, fatty meat and they cut the fatty meat into little, itty-bitty baby size pieces and then drowned it in sauce. The beans must be be canned pork & beans. Tastes just like them. The potato salad isn't any better than Denny's. And they did not put the cobler in the bag. Got home, no cobler. Overall: there were a bunch of guys hanging out who obviously did not work there; going into the kitchen, behind the counter, cussing, using the "n" word loudly. Very uncomfortable. Not going back.
