I went there last night and ordered Catfish and prawns. I took it home and ate it. The food wasn't bad as far as taste. But got to tell you, it gave me the runs all night. So I have to conclude, either the catfish or prawns or both were spoiled. I don't know what you guys are doing with the food prep or maybe frying in old oil, I don't know. But you guys gotta tighten up!

I will never buy food from this location again. I bought a 20pc wing last night and when I got home I was in for a rude awakening. They sold me some wings that were so small and fried so hard I thought I was eating chicken cracklings. What a waste of money and time.

JJ's has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to for their catfish. I grew up in Richmond CA and I love their catfish😋 now Im living in Antioch for the past 10yrs and my son ordered me the catfish oder from the contra loma JJ's and I was so disappointed🙁 My catfish was overcook and the bread was stale. My fries was the only good thing in my order. That's why I gave 2 stars. I guess I was expecting my order to taste the same as the JJ's in Richmond. Oh well I guess it all depends on who the cook is🤔

I gave one star to be able to get to this box to write this comment. The fries were very soggy and wet. The greens did not taste like collard greens. Everything had same taste. This is my second time at this JJ’s and I will not be back. I have this after taste in my mouth that I don’t like and what ever it is does not belong in greens or on fried shrimp.
