Wanted to like this location but I think I'm going to go to Yummy now after my 2nd trip here. Portions aren't that great and the meat is rather bland so you'll likely need sauce (which you have to ask for each time as they won't just give it to you). This would normally be fine but even the teriyaki sauce has a watery consistency as if it's been literally watered down. Thought I'd give this place a chance after my first time was rather lackluster. Meanwhile, I have fond memories of eating at L&L at other locations and by far this one needs the most help.

I went in there and ordered Katshu chicken and it smelled like a hole in there.. dirty mop bucket water... the food was so nasty..somthing was terribly wrong with this dirty place.. I threw it away and walked

The staff/owners here are very rude. We walked in, My sister is special needs, she walked over to a table to grab her wallet out of her backpack. They stared at her the whole time as if she was a homeless person. I looked at the lady at the register and let her know she was with us because I seen them staring her down as if she was doing something wrong, even with me saying she was with us, she still continued to watch her. No reason for that! We ordered. Got our food, they have 1 dipping sauce for 3 plates of food. I walked over and asked them for 1 more sauce, they refused to give it to me and instead the guy threw a jar of BBQ sauce at me and said here use this. I wanted to dip my food in the sauce, not pour it all over my food, so my leftover would be soggy later on. The meat was burnt and barely chewable. The soy sauce was extremely salty. We spent $50+ on food here to be treated horrible and told no to a 2nd sauce container. Like that container cost them scents, and you can't give me one to dip my food in after spending $50+ on your food, come on! Think before coming here

The food is not as good as it used to be. The meat portions have gotten skimpy. I ordered the "crab rangoons," NOT a single shred of crab in them, just a bunch of sweet cream cheese. The food is fresh, the dining area + bathroom were clean, and the service was good!

please do not eat here!!! ive been sick since this past thursday afternoon it's now Sunday. i've had consistent diarrhea and am super nauseous since eating the food. i dont typically complain about food but something had to be said so other's won't end up in the same boat that I am right now. Also this place is very unsanitary. People on the register were super rude when I went ordered as well. I'm very disappointed in the service, food, and overall I will not ever eat L & L BBQ again. If I could give zero stars I would.

If I could give a zero stars to this place I would. My husband (of mixed race but is predominantly Black) and our friend (Filipino) were picking up food for my birthday party. He lets the cashier know his name and number to pick up his order. He then proceeds to be hounded by another woman who came out of nowhere to repeat his information. After he explains he just gave it to them twice, fully paid in person days in advance, AND had the receipt, she would not let up until he gave his info again. When he finally did, she screamed out “THANK YOU” in annoyed tone and walked away. The cashier said “there’s been a lot of people that come and steal food that look like you”. My husband made it clear that he is now aware of their racially stereotyping before grabbing the food and leaving.We have bought food from this place three times for catering, and this will be our last. We will never come back here again.

I love L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and consistently order the BBQ Beef Bowl and Healthy Garlic Shrimp. The food is delicious, and this Antioch location includes excellent customer service.
This place has the worst customer service. These people are RUDE and they don't care. Firstly, the menu is outdated so it's hard to read the vintage lettering and the prices aren't updated (make sure you check your receipt). They over charged me. They have a ton of mug shots posted on the wall. Then the guy at the register was rude while I was trying to order my food as if I'm the one who can't speak English. The food was decent, but not good enough for me to be a return customer. No thank YOU! I have had better service and food at the mall food court.

This didn't look like the picture shown on their menu I was expecting garlic shrimp like how I had in Hawaii or other L&L or other Hawaiian bbq spots. This is not deep fried prawns at all. Very disappointed in the lack of cooking there food. Not going back.

The owner is incredibly stingy with condiments and cutlery. He’s also very aggressive and confrontational. The food is maybe 3/5 so not good enough to deal with rude customer service. Also, there’s a dumpster right outside of the front door so as you go in and leave on a hot day it smells like death ?
