Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop - Antioch, CA

As with many establishments pre and post Covid the service has been, on more than one occasion cancelled our order by phone and several Door Dash orders. As I mentioned it’s been an ongoing situation for years. We forget over time and order again only to be treated the same way in which we say oh yea we’re not ordering from them again. Good food absolutely poor management.

Everyone was really nice! I was really nervous because I am an anxious person but they made me feel welcomed in the store. The sandwiches were really good and had a lot of toppings compared to some other sandwich chains I’ve been to. I would 100% come here again.

The sandwich was good without the bread. The Dutch bread was stale. The staff were nice. And it was clean. For $20 for a sandwich and drink and chips you would think the bread would be fresh.

first time there,didn't care for the way food preparers worked around the making of the food ,felt careless and not sanitary enough for me won't be back

We live close and used to eat here all the time. But, a few years back they sold to a different owner. Immediately the good service and quality of the sandwiches dropped significantly. Worst of all the shop was always dirty even behind the counter. Recently we tried it again but unfortunately they haven’t changed for the better.

I'm not sure why the young lady cut up the hard pastrami and placed it on my sandwich? To be honest, she should have just thrown that out... This portion of the meat was unedible...

I went here for the first time a few days ago and I have to say the sandwich was very good! I also like the fact that they greeted people when they walked in,I felt bad when a good number of people were rude and didn't even acknowledge the workers, but besides that I only had two issues. The first being a female worker wiped her nose with her arm and kept working on a sandwich,then wiped her nose with her wrist and kept working. I think at the very least she should have paused and washed her wrist and arm before finishing something that someone was gonna eat. Second issue was the fly,flying around at least cover the food items when stepping away from them those are my only complaints just sanitary reasons. The guy who made my sandwich however was awesome!
