Definitely an all around 4. Food is good but a tad on the skimpy side. We got a 53 dollar bucket and it was a bit smaller than I expected.

The flavor was solid. Very good. And people are nice and the space is dated but roomy.

Decided to try this place. Had the fish & chips along with some new england clam chowder. The chowder was basically a lame potato soup served with oyster crackers. I should have known better. Crab meat was available as an up charge if I wanted it. The fish was so thin. Almost all breading and lacked any kind of flavor like the soup. The French fries were actually the best of the meal. I only gave the food 2 stars because it wasn't spoiled. Service was slow and pathetic. The atmosphere was tacky at best. I kept waiting for the strippers to appear. Lol. Don't waste your time or money!

It doesn’t seem any place that opens up in this location lasts. Ocean 9 lasted longer than expected considering how things were ran here. No host, barely any servers and a very inattentive owner. Hopefully the next restaurant that takes over does better!

Very hot no meat in the crap no flavor

Service was spotty and we waited half an hour for the check to be told that we pay up front.
Ordered wings, pasta, crab boil with crab legs, crawfish, and shrimp. The wings were good but every other member of our group (9) didn't like the food.
Decor and atmosphere was cool

This is not a good example of creole and cajun food.

I've been here before, unfortunately, I will not be back. The first time, the food was phenomenal. This time, it was not. The calamari was too chewy and hard to eat. The boil lacked flavor, and the shrimp was overcooked. Service was a bit slow. Finally, there was a sewer-like smell that made sitting there unbearable.

Pretty cool spot.... BUUUUT for over $100.00 for 2 people while ordering frugaly service was shiite, the boil was less then MEH .... literally we left without finishing the food and had no interest in taking it with us... but we did hit jack and the box on the way home!

Wheelchair accessibility: Clam chowder, probably the worst ever had. Watery, tasteless, no clams, Lobster roll served on frozen Texas toast. For the price, it was very disappointing. Ordered seafood salad but they had no salad. Prediction; will be closing down.

I used to liked this place the problem now they stop serving food early like today 11/29/24 they told us by 8:30pm they were going to stop dinning. Other times I get there by 9:30 and they stop dinning by then, and if you get there by 9:00pm or 9:15pm they let you dinning and they have a bad attitude . Even it says close at 10pm they don't. Save your time to get there and get refused to dinning, better go to Concord to Cajun Craken, food is great and they close at the time they say they will or later if you're still there. Hope the owner sees this rate and do something about it. Mean while I'm telling my friends and family not to eat there

I recently dined at Ocean 9 Crab Cajun & Seafood in Antioch, and while there were some highlights, a few issues stood out. The combo basket with Cajun sauce was over-spiced to the point that it overwhelmed the flavors of the seafood. Additionally, the dining area had a strong kitchen food-burning smell that made the experience less enjoyable.

That said, the fishing-themed decor is beautifully done, adding a lot of character to the space. However, the area was quite dark, which detracted from the overall ambiance.

What really earned this place three stars is the excellent customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about the customer experience. Their effort is greatly appreciated, and I hope the other areas improve to match their level of service.

I’ve been here a handful of times but today will definitely be my last. Came here today with grandma. I ordered the combo #1 with crawfish, shrimp, and muscles along with a side of calamari. First off the calamari was very tough, and the shrimp wasn’t properly cleaned. After about 2 hours now I’m sitting in the bathroom with an upset stomach and puking up seafood !!! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
