We have only successfully ordered from this restaurant one time. Every other time we have tried to place an order since then, the order goes through but then they cancel it without informing us. Not sure what is going on here since they didn't communicate at all. The sandwiches were just okay when we got them before. Their offerings are similar to something you'd make at home using grocery store sliced bread, grocery store sliced lunch meat, and grocery store sliced cheese. That appealed to us since we don't always want really elaborate sandwiches on fancy bread, but I guess this place has enough customers. ‍

Not sure what to say about this place except that the sandwiches certainly look amazing. However, we arrived with a large work group for lunch at noon on weekday and despite the Yelp site and the sign on their door saying that they were open, the door was locked and they were closed. Rather unfortunate for us so we rolled into the taqueria next door (which is a good one to hit). We might be back for our next business trip to the area and look forward to some tasty sandwiches when we do.

1st time here. The restaurant was decorated cutely for Christmas. Ordered the Empire Chicken Salad Sandwich Togo. As they were preparing the sandwich I noticed fresh baked muffins. I also purchase an apple cinnamon muffin to have with my coffee in the morning. So my sandwich was very tasty. I enjoyed the cranberry in it. It was a simple sandwich, just the salad on a crescent roll so nothing to take away from the flavor. Looking forward to trying other sandwiches.

Of course, the chicken salad is the best! Other items on the menu are good as well. The small staff are very welcoming. The only negative thing for me is that their

Out of courtesy for your customers, update your hours and don't accept online orders for days that you are closed. It is very frustrating to go to pick up an order , only to find your door is locked because you are closed. Hmmm, how does that even happen?

I'm having a bit of buyers remorse after spending $18 on a salad and drink. No thrills, just small amount of romaine and protein.

I've worked in the area for 4 years and am surprised I've never heard of this place before. Visited for the first time today and the waitress was very nice. When searching Google for restaurants in the area it does not show Rick's in the search results. I only found the place because I searched Google Maps for "sandwich". I'm usually looking for a quick bite on my lunch break, so this place would be even better if it were a bit quicker. The "Order Now" button on the website doesn't work. I'll try calling in my order next time. Overall, great food and friendly service!

First time here, wanted to give a local favorite a try, so decided on a hot pastrami sandwich on Dutch crunch. Pastrami was super salty, cheese barely melted, and the bread was not Dutch crunch. Everything tasted sour in that sandwich. I don't know what kind of bread they gave me, it didn't have any crunch to it but wasn't a French or soft sweet roll either. Maybe it was old bread because it sure didn't taste fresh, but it also wasn't stale. Sadly I won't be coming back to give them another try.

You know the saying "best things in your life are usually in front of you"? Rick's is a great example of that. I walk past this restaurant almost every day but never took a chance to check it out due to my strict diet. Today is my cheat day and boy was it a great decision. The food was fresh, tasted great, all served with excellent hospitality. We got couple breakfast plates which were great but the chicken salad sandwhich was the true star. Now I see why some people left them negative reviews because the restaurant ran out. Its so good, people lose their mind when its gone. Its fresh, crunchy, sweet, and savory. All resting scrumptiously between a sliced buttery croissant. I cannot ask for more. If you're in town, this place is a must try.

First time I went there was beautiful wonderful the bread is to die for still the bread is to die for, but the last two times I went there somehow or another whoever's working in there now must've worked at the school district. They literally putting you less than 2 ounces of meat in the sandwich where is the meat? It's missing nothing there thank you there will not be a fourth for me done

It is alright. Honestly taste like something you can put together at home. Overpriced nothing special.

A hidden gem within the downtown area. It is a must that you visit this restaurant. The ambiance, service, and prices are amazing. Although I went in just for a sandwich, I received top quality service. With the multiple questions I had, there weren't any issues answering them. The sandwich was a roast beef on Dutch crunch, which was also perfect. I will definitely be back, sooner rather than later.
