Handled everything during pandemic when I got deliveries. Drivers are great...people calling me when My bank blocked the charged to make sure I didnt go without my deliveries..just truly amazing work on the part of all the local Safeway and all the people involved in making the deliveries happen. I have always gone to Safeway Antioch and Bay Point for their tuna sandwiches. Today , while eating my sandwich that I purchased from the Antioch location I found two pieces of what appeared to be pieces of plastic fork inside my tuna. The first piece upset me but I kept eating my sandwich. The second bite really angered me. The worse part is that when I tried to call the store and let the manager know to throw that batch of tuna away because of what I found I could not get any manager on the phone. I was transferred numerous times. I sure hope that nobody else has this experience today. Plastic utensils should never be used when serving or mixing foods exactly for this reason.

Rotten disgusting food and even more disgusting and rude employees. But maybe that's what Antioch does to people. The staff need to be fired for their inhuman behavior towards customers and how they treat their fellow co-workers from what I've seen.

First time in the store Since I move to Antioch (long story) short story forgot my card at home I checked my wallet and I only had $20 they helped me to get a discount to pay exactly $20 thank you so much. Happy costumer Ps. Parking lot was kind of messy

First off the cart girl was rude asf before we even entered the front door. Second off please hire cashiers that aren't idiots. Apparently no one knew what a check was, and it held up the line for 30 minutes. Third, please also hire workers who know how to answer a phone. All I could hear the whole time I was in this place was phones ringing off the hook. Everyone working here seems to be incompetent, to say it lightly. This was the worst Safeway I've ever been to in my entire life. I will never be back here again.

So frustrating … Just received another delivery and was overcharged yet again. I have contacted customer service via their website no less than 4 times already for three previous orders and have received no response, other than the automated response that says they'll get back to me. When I wonder? Getting ready to contact them again for the $10.99 I was overcharged on today's delivery.

March 30 9:35 am I was buying a rotisserie chicken so the young man Kindly told me to pay at the Sandwich deli cashier when suddenly this Spanish old lady was So aggressive towards me she told me that she was helping someone and I said OKey. I can wait but she insist of me being at another Cash register I don't know because I'm Asian this is unacceptable no customer should be treated like this

I've never been to a grocery store where there are NO check stands open, only self checkout. All the self checkout stands were being used and everyone needed assistance. The store employee who was manning the self checkout lanes was checking out someone because you can't purchase alcohol at the self checkout stands, and we're all waiting for assistance. I literally waited nearly 15 minutes because there was only one person available assisting everybody who is checking out. Self check out should be a convenience, not mandatory. Won't be coming back.

I had worked for this company for 27 years, retired in 2000. Back then customer service and quality product was the most important thing. Boy oh boy have things changed. I have never seen a more unhappy pathetic group. Not a single greeting nor smile in the lot. Even the cashier had no smile or a simple thank you. So much for a friendly place to shop. Must be a very poor management staff to allow their employees to act in such a manner.

This is the worst Safeway I have ever been to. My girlfriend and I were going to buy some toiletries and it happens to be near the section where the alcohol is. We were only allowed to pay at the registers in front of the aisle while there were registers and self-registers in front of the store AND ASILE. The customer service was horrible! There was only one lady working at the register and the customer in front of us had a ton of stuff. Behind us were two other customers waiting. They weren't willing to open the other register when the staff was just talking amongst each other rather than providing service. It just didn't made any sense to us that we didn't have a choice to pay at the registers in front where security could obviously see us paying for them. We just wanted to get what we needed and leave but instead, we ditched our stuff and went to a different store and wasted our time here.
