Place was extremely busy. Management, hostess, bussers, servers' waiters, bartenders and kitchen staff all seemed to be in sync. Drinks came quicker than expected given how packed the place was. Dinner served quickly, hot and the way we ordered it. All greeted us as we entered and being seated as well as throughout the night.
Beautiful location on the water. Service from the hostess to the waiter was impeccable. We had a large group and our waiter was not daunted by it. He waited on us immediately and made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. The food choices were numerous. We tried many of the entrees and they were all delicious especially the ribs and pork chop. Best of all, it was Veterans Day and all veterans, including my son, received a free meal. What a kind gesture. We all agreed...
We were at Smith's on Veteran's Day since they provide a free meal for vets. We made a reservation so were seated on time. It was busy but controlled. The waitress brought me iced tea without the lemon just as I ordered. Less than 50% serve it that way. I had the scampi cob salad. It was wonderful. My wife had clam chowder and a wedge salad. She was very pleased with it. We plan to go back more frequently. Thanks to the management and ownership of Smith's Landing...
