Let me be the first to tell you NOT to use this business for your catering needs. First of all, i had no problem speaking to the owner about my catering plans. he took his time to explain to me what the expectations are and the price for 60 guests. i delivered him the 1/2 amount of the deposit he required the next day. everything was booked by 05/10/2022. as it went on, my guest lists for my baby shower got shorter to 40 and i communicated with him.l through calling where he insisted hes busy so i couldn't talk to him. i texted him instead which then replied late. every now and then as the party got closer, i asked for new quote since i had less people, then he said hes busy and will get back to me, he did eventually on the day of. we agreed upon on the time to be at 4pm to start. my friend called him at 4:17p to ask where he was, only to mention they were having a vehicle situation. my friend and other guests said they saw a taco truck broken down a couple blocks from my house. some of my male guests went there to find out that the truck had broken down. again, nothing was communicated with us. there were two younger males in the truck and no site of the owner. the truck was towed to my house curb side and started taking orders. the plan was to have the catering in my backyard, not a truck in the front. my guests spent more time trying to get their food as these people couldn't keep up and kept messing up their orders. i didn't have a party, i ended having a taco line for 2 hours and no games at my shower were done. at the end, i spoke to his son who was taking orders and was pretty much clueless on how it was supposed to be. he was only doing wat he was instructed to do so. he was apologetic and called the owner (his dad) on the phone. his excuse was he had everything planned out already the day before in a different vehicle with a cart attached but somehow it got stolen the night before. this was not communicated with me. it wouldve given me an option to have a plan B. cancel and find a last minute catering service, instead he had his own plan that was not communicated at all. the promised service did not happen, i had asked to include chips in the order that we didn't get. he insisted that it was there but never was offered to my guests. NOW, he wants to fully charge me for something that we didnt get. hes insisting that we pay him the full amount. GREAT COMMUNICATION GETTING YOUR MONEY BUT QUIET WHEN QUESTIONS WERE ASKED!!!
