Dirty.. poor customer service.. very unwelcoming. I ordered a small Thai Tea smoothie.. definitely 100% NOT thai tea flavor.. but whatever it was was at least decent. $5 for a small

Yes! I love me some Surf City squeeze! Of course you will mostly find them in Malls and inside a very small amount of Walmart stores too! I loved they the fruit and veggie drink options they offer so you definitely can't go wrong. They also have a nice selection of nutritional powders you can add on as well. I hadn't been to the Antioch location in quite sometime, mostly because this mall is whack! It's always dead, but that's for another review..lol. I've ordered the veggie smoothies a time or two, however my favorite will always be the fruit smoothies. I almost always stick to my favorite which is, Strawberry, Banana, Blueberry and sometimes coconut. I noticed they don't charge extra anymore for more fruit add ons. The A OK in my book. The service is always good and they get your drink orders out really fast. I've never ordered there food so I can't speak on that. I've been drinking Surf City Squeeze since I was a kid and this is one of my favorite smoothies joints. They also have drinks specials: 2 small drinks for $7.59 Or 2 medium drinks for $9.59 This it my final review for 2016 and it's been real. See y'all in 2017! :)

Sometimes on a hot day you want something to cool you down, But sometimes you have no idea where to get something to cool you down. That is why I like "Yelp" and I trust other "Yelpers" to most of the time not lead me astray. Sometimes you may have bookmarked a place and always pass it by or forget to go and pay the place a visit, well in almost 100 degree temperatures, a smoothie or juice or....#BOTD (Boba of the Day) didn't sound so bad. So making my way to the ever deserted Somersville Towne Center, I decided this day to make Surf City Squeeze my #BOTD stop and here is what I thought over all.. 6/22/16 I was out and about enjoying my day and running a few errands. It was pretty hot out that day and still recovering from my epic night in San Francisco just a few hours before, I needed something to hydrate me and to satisfy a craving I had for a drink with those.."Black Balls" or "Tapioca" in it and for it to be slushyfied! Service 4/5 Drink 3/5 The Drink: I made my way in the mall (Somersville Towne Center or Antioch Mall) and headed directly to the kiosk like operation that Surf City Squeeze uses for operation. I would say this place is mostly a smoothie and blended drink type of place, but they are venturing out and trying other styles of drinks on for size such as the "Boba and Coffee" drinks and light food that they now have on their menu. On this day, I opted for the Cantaloupe "FruitBoba" in a medium "20oz" size at $5.65 in total. In about 45 seconds..Yea I counted! I had my drink in hand. Me never had a Cantaloupe flavored drink, I was pretty excited to try this drink and flavor out. My impression was kinda a let down..not totally bad, but not totally good either. First off, if I order something called a "FruitBoba" I want to taste the fruity essence of the drink. This however tasted as if I was drinking a very milky Thai Iced Tea with a light Cantaloupe flavor added to it. And the "Blended" drink kinda didn't have that slushy quality that you would get if you went to a "Boba" joint and ordered a slush or even shaved ice drink. It almost tasted as if they chilled a bottle of Odwalla and served it to me with "Boba" and gave me my drink. Not what I was expecting at all, but I still drank it. Also they way over cooked the "Tapioca" with made it kinda...gritty and gooey instead of the gummy bear quality that most properly cooked tapioca seem to have. Will I go Back? Well I will say this, if I'm in the mall yes. But if I wanted to wait a little while and go across the street to Quickly or to the iTea by my house. I would choose this place last. Unless I was going here specifically for a smoothie. Then I would maybe choose this place first. In Conclusion, this joint has been in the Somersville Towne Center for sometime. I can't believe that I hadn't been here sooner. This place seems to have it appeal to some that come through the mall on their shopping or eating trips. It's located a few steps from Fallas Parades and has light seating around the kiosk. I would say if you come here for a drink, as always "Yelp" your own experience.
