Corky's Kitchen & Bakery - Apple Valley

My husband and I have come here since they opened. We used to rave about the food and recommended it to everyone, but the service and food started to decline along with rising prices so we hadn't been here in a little while.
Today we decided to give it another try, we ordered breakfast for pick up. Two orders of Eggs Benedict and a Sausage with Eggs plate. When my husband went in to pick it up he was told that someone from DoorDash had mistakenly taken our order but they could quickly remake it. We didn't get mad we just figured at least it'll be fresh, so we waited. Once we got home I started opening everything and was instantly disappointed with what it looked like, it looked like someone had dropped it before handing it to us. To top it off they only put one egg in each Eggs Benedict when there should be two.

We ended up taking it back and requesting a refund.

Side Note: I then ordered the exact same thing from Molly Brown's. The total at Corky's was $55 and the total at Molly Brown's was only $48. I attached a photo for comparison.

Watch your wallet. They charge extra for everything.
I expect to pay extra for cheese. The extra charge for onion and peppers in home fries came as a surprise. Lunch for 2 was over $60.00.

I never though that is how they serve the fruit specifically the grapes , Just the peelings , I wonder why ??? Plus the other bowl that I have the fruit is bad it tasted very past due very spoiled fruit

Omg!!!!! This is awful!!!. I ordered a senior cheeseburger. It took 4 remakes and it still wasn't correct. My original order was medium well with cheese. They bought out well done, no cheese. Second remake they bought out well done, no cheese. Third time well done with cheese. Fourth remake well done, no cheese. At this point I asked for the manager and asked to be comped for this hamburger that never came out correctly. He agreed but I shouldn't have had to ask. That should of been an automatic comp. Come on now, 4 remakes and the 4th one still was wrong but at this time I was starving so I ate it. Don't order any hamburgers!!!!!!

Ordered the fish and chips, this the second time this happened. The waiter ask if I wanted the 55 and older deal. I was mortified, im not 55! I guess to a kid who looks 12 years old I do, but im sitting next to my husband and it's embarrassing. If I had a cane or white hair, sure, but im far from that. Won't be ordering that, won't be coming back

Very disappointed I ordered fried chicken and 20 mins after the server comes back with everyone else food and he said that my food will be 20 mins late because he made a mistake and instead of fried chicken he put chicken fry steak. I told him to cancel since was going to take too long for courtesy he offer a slice of pie he never came back and they wanted to charge me for the 2 plates of chicken 😔

Mel was an amazing server ! she was very helpful, Made sure we had everything we needed and more. I definitely recommend going to corkys especially having Mel as your server !

Took my kids here over the weekend never been there ... we all had water the waiter came out filled up our cups and as he was filling up the cups he poured water on my plate of food which I was not done eating.. my plate cost $22 I did notice they took off one of the cups of soda so that took us down $4 but the moral of the story is don't pour water or drinks over people's food.
