I’ve eaten here a few times over the years but I’m finally writing a review after a horrible experience.
The first three times I got pizza here I got it to go and it was cold. I figured it got done early and was sitting out so I didn’t say anything I just put it in the oven for a few minutes when I got home. But then I dined inside the restaurant for the first time and all my food was still cold. I asked the waitress if there was anything she could do about it and she said no. After that I asked for a box, paid, went home, and microwaved and finished my dinner.
A few days ago I went back, I figured time had passed so maybe things changed. While waiting to order I overheard staff arguing in the kitchen, they were extremely loud and vulgar towards each other and it was very awkward. A woman came and took my to-go order and when it came out it was all wrong, and also cold. I was fed up, I asked for a refund and was denied so I once again took my food home and microwaved it. I won’t be returning and I suggest you don’t ever step foot in this establishment.
Additionally there were dead bugs in the corners. It really added to the ambiance.

From beginning to end, every experience is always delightful. From an Italian background, we are thrilled to have home-cooked feel good meals from Miss Celia and the family here at Giuseppe‘s.
Whether there’s specials or not, always try something new because you will never be disappointed.

I was dining here last night for the first time and witnessed an interaction that really bothered me.
A mother and her two young sons were seated near me. She politely brought up that the XL pizza she ordered was missing slices. Instead of being handled quietly and professionally, staff began arguing about it loudly across the restaurant. The cook even came out to confront her, and the situation quickly became uncomfortable for everyone watching.
The customer was not rude and was clearly just asking for what she paid for. What should have been a simple fix turned into a very public and humiliating moment in front of her children. You could see how upset she was, and many of us in the restaurant felt uncomfortable witnessing it.
Mistakes happen in restaurants, but the way this was handled was unnecessary and unprofessional. Customer service matters, and this experience alone would make me think twice about returning.

They say kindness is free and I guess Giuseppe’s is overdrawn because I witnessed the saddest customer service interaction I’ve seen in a long time. There was this lady there with her kids. She was a young mother and it seemed like she was doing her best to treat her kids to a nice dinner. I guess they cut her pizza into the wrong amount of slices, so it was going to make it so not all the kids would get the same amount of slices. The cook came out and was so rude to her that she was asking for a pizza cut to accommodate the kids portions(the pizza she ordered advertised the amount of slices she paid for) that the lady started crying. Pizza dough literally costs like $1.00 to produce. Even if they had made an entirely new pizza, it would have only cut into their bottom line marginally. A lot of businesses don’t seem to realize that the word of mouth is going to make their business more successful than anything else. The fact that this business cared more about shaming a young mother than remaking a pizza to make a few kids happy means I am NEVER giving my hard earned cash to this business again. Do better people.

I was in Giuseppe’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Apple Valley and watched an uncomfortable situation play out. A mom and her two kids ordered an XL pizza that’s supposed to be 12 slices, but it came out cut into 10. She calmly pointed it out right after it was served. Instead of fixing it, staff and the cook argued loudly, and the cook came out to confront her. The owner ultimately refused to discount or remake it and offered a small “mini” pizza as the only solution.
What stood out was the tone and how public it became. The customer wasn’t asking for free food, just what was ordered and a respectful resolution. It was embarrassing to watch and not how a business should handle a simple mistake. I wouldn’t recommend based on how this was handled.

Staff were extremely rude and unprofessional to another customer and ruined the dining experience for the whole restaurant. Made the customer cry. Simply won’t be coming back.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing.
I came in with my two sons (9 & 11) for a rare dinner out. I ordered an XL pizza advertised as 12 slices so we could each have 4. When it arrived, it only had 10 slices. I politely pointed it out right after it was served.
Instead of resolving it calmly, the situation escalated. Staff argued loudly about it in front of the entire restaurant, and I was essentially told they couldn’t take my word for it and that nothing would be done. The cook came out aggressively, and I was left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of my children.
I never asked for anything free—only what I paid for. A remake was briefly offered and then taken back. The only resolution offered was a mini pizza, which I declined. The way this was handled was unnecessarily confrontational and upsetting.
What made this even harder is that this was meant to be a special moment for my sons, who recently lost their father. An incredibly kind stranger ended up paying for our meal so we could leave.
Mistakes happen—but how you handle them matters. We won’t be returning.

A genuinely disgusting excuse for a Lasagna at an otherwise typical Italian eatery. I don't think I'll ever return
