I've visited Hallelujah BBQ several times in the past and the food was good. But this time the food was horrible. The greens weren't seasoned, the chicken was those hugh legs and it wasn't seasoned well either. The ribs were tough and the pulled pork had no taste. I thought maybe my taste buds were off but my husband didn't enjoy the food either bcuz of the same reasons. Hope food gets better in the future.....

Drove 30 min to get there and arrived 3 hours before they closed and was told by staff they were out of food???? Poor logistic/supply planning for a restaurant. Unsatisfactory!

I live in Yucca Valley. 60 miles from Apple Valley. Yesterday I drove the 60 miles and back, just to get some Hallilujah BBQ. It's that good. And the crew is so nice. One gentleman even carried my food out to my car for me. (I'm an old man😁)

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, yams, and baked beans.
The pulled pork sandwich and baked beans were AMAZING.
The Mac and cheese would also be amazing if they used less chicken bouillon, it’s so salty.
The yams had great flavor!
Overall kill down the saltiness of the Mac and cheese and maybe the spice (too spicy for kids) and it would be a 10/10 spot.

I had the best unexpected visit today. While showing up close to closing, I was informed that most of the dishes had been sold out. But the owner allowed me to sample many of the menu items and ‘oh my goodness’. By far some of the best BBQ and sides I’ve ever eaten. The staff were personable and welcoming. It’s friendly establishments like this one that makes you want to come back.

Felt the love from the moment I walked in the place had Motown hits playing, fridge full of soda and desserts, kitchen full of people serving up the love! The boss man greeted everyone with a smoke and attitude of gratitude! Definitely coming back.

Order Bbq to go. Got the Pork Ribs Bbq and the pulled pork plate and also got the sides of mac n cheese and potato salad and corn bread. There bbq sauce is amazing. Everything was really good and tasted homemade. Definitely recommend them if you are looking to get some bbq.

My wife stopped in to pick up dinner. Got the combo with ribs, brisket and pulled pork. Sides were greens, potato salad and coleslaw. While the establishment doesn’t look like a 5 star BBQ spot, it’s exactly what it needs to be. One that serves genuine southern BBQ. Everything was delicious and serving size was enough to eat on for a few days. This is the first BBQ joint we’ve ordered from that has greens and they were very good. Nice job Halleluiah BBQ and we’ll definitely be back. I’ll also share some word of mouth advertising with my colleagues.

Hands down, the best bbq in the high desert. I crave this bbq and drive 30 minutes just to get it. The smell as you get out of the car is so nostalgic and the quality of the food matches. Everything is homemade from scratch and worth a try. Jason always provides me with exceptional service regardless of if I call my order in or place it at the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and support this business.
