First time in - excited to find a local coffee shop in AV. I approached one of two sweet young ladies standing near the register to order. A young man (glasses/beanie) with his back to me barked something like “Not yet Ma’am”.
OK who knew?? The wonderful girl was at the order counter. Really dismissive and condescending. Coffee is good - his attitude wasn’t. (Watched him interact with another first-time customer in the same impatient manner.) Pretty shocked - didn’t expect this from a coffee shop with such a long-standing history in the community.

It was my first time here ever. We wait five minutes to order, standing at the counter. My friend ordered a decaf coffee. “We don’t have decaf coffee. We have decaf espresso, I can make you an americano.” I ordered a medium, iced chai, nothing special, it was $7. I could have bought milk and a pack of chai. We ordered a cinnamon bun which was hard and stale and we couldn’t even eat it. It also took an unusual amount of time to receive our purchase. Only two young ladies were working there. Horrible first experience. It will be my last.

Very nice and cozy place to get some coffee and relax or study. The employees are really sweet and always make sure to greet us as well as say bye.

Best ambiance in the High Desert. They are always kind and professional, great service. They have been here for a very long time and that's no accident. I recommend them.

Alexis provided such wonderful service, so friendly and with a smile the whole time! Pumpkin spice chai was excellent too! Definitely recommend!

Really hate to leave a bad review here, I truly enjoy their coffee and food, but their customer service is awful. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed but they’re very unorganized. I typically do pick up orders over the phone, but today was the worst. I called to make the order, the employee immediately asked to put me on hold and left me there for about 4 minutes, which is fine. Then came back on the phone and took my order, however when I asked how long till it’s done so I know when to show up, he wouldn’t give me an estimated time. He kept telling me that he doesn’t know, he has many orders ahead of me, and that if people walk in he has to take those order first. So I asked okay, all of that is fine, but I’m driving to you, you can’t give me a time when to be there? I eventually get there about 20 minutes later and continue to wait, the employee there ended up making someone else’s order ahead of mine which put me at the bottoms of the line. That’s another part of why they’re very unorganized, they don’t take your name when you make an order so they have no idea which order is for who.

Nice café on a somewhat lost road.
The service was quite long but the waitress was lovely and all alone for many customers. They also sell
Tshirts and sweaters from their cafe and I loved it!!
