The “Happy Birthday” was on the border with cheap looking frosting, my inspo pic had it on top of the cake. The design on the front wasn’t worth “$45 for their artistic skills” the numbers on top weren’t candles like the lady said they would, made me pay $10 for numbers I could have just gotten my own candles for cheaper.I’m really disappointed in the outcome of my order and the price didn’t match the quality…

Every year we always want to order a pie for the holidays but never have. This year we finally did. we ordered the peach caramel crumble and the chocolate mousse pie ! Both were amazing and well worth it! so many compliments at the table . I always assume that a chocolate pie will be the same. This chocolate pie was something else! The peach caramel pie was so flavorful and I appreciated the texture of the peaches. sooo good 👍 definitely look forward to ordering again !

The worst cakes imaginable. Got a birthday cake for my nieces birthday (a big one). The cake was terrible and way too too too sweet! All we could taste was a sinful amount of sugar. We couldn’t even eat it..a waste of money. The lady was also rude.

This is the best cake place i’ve ever been to in my life. I called literally like 20 cake stores to find my 5 year old a transformers cake for his birthday. I called them three days before his birthday and they gave me a masterpiece. Prices were amazing, cake tasted GREAT, and their customer service was top notch. i will be using them for all future events, thank you so much!!!!

I emailed ahead months in advance to ensure that they had the right concept for my daughters cake. I called months in advance and spoke to them on the phone and I explained that my daughter was very particular about what she wanted and we were on the phone for almost 30 minutes discussing the cake. It was to be a black fondant cake with neon colors for a 90's rave themed glow party. I specifically asked them for neon drip on the cake, specifying the colors turquoise, electric purple, lime green, yellow, orange and hot pink. I paid almost $250 over the phone and drove over 45 minutes from Redlands to Apple Valley only to pick up a cake that was wrong. They did try to make it better but they just made it look worse. They put dark blue that was almost navy instead of turquoise and there was no lime green insight. And when they mixed the turquoise to try to cover the dark blue they did it in a hurry and you could still see white specks in the drip that was now clumpy looking. This was for my daughter's 13th birthday party that we spent months planning. As I explained to them when I picked up the cake, I was put in a bad situation because I spent that much money and made that long of a drive because I trusted them to make the cake the way we had agreed upon. Now I was stuck with a cake that was not what I ordered and that did not look like it was supposed to and there was nothing I could do as it was too late to get another cake. And to make it worse, they had the word NEON underlined on the receipt so they couldn't have missed it! And then I was dismissed by them as if I wasn't relevant to them by being told that the owner was on the phone with an important client and would call me. So whoever that client was, they were obviously more important than me and my daughter who now had a ruined birthday cake. It has been over two weeks and still no contact from them as promised. I'm truly disappointed in this business. Not only by the fact that they provided the wrong design but also in their lack of customer service. As a small business owner myself, I understand things can get crazy. But that is never an excuse to make your customers feel unheard, unseen, irrelevant and dismissed. I would never allow one of my clients to leave my establishment in tears because of my business. I could have paid $80 at stater brothers and been treated with dignity. The Cake Shop used to be a classy establishment with great customer service and pride in their work. Apparently the owner has lost sight of the fact that they are a key component in people's special moments in life and that their service can either make a beautiful memory or destroy a special moment for an entire family. Now every time I think back to my daughters 13th birthday, I will always remember that that was the year that The Cake Shop ruined my daughters cake and didn't even care enough to call me back or to even attempt to make it right.

I was gifted 6 different cupcakes for my birthday(I ate 5), I got Lemon, Reece’s, Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, and Triple Chocolate. Literally the best cupcakes I’ve ever eaten, I ate one cupcake a day and they stayed INCREDIBLE! I will recommend this place to every single person! I also bought some cute bracelets by the register! I did get a cold response from the woman behind the counter, I felt like I was a bother to her? anyway I’m there for one thing and it’s my cupcakes and I’ll be back probably every birthday lol
