The food is amazing and our waitress was the absolute best!
She was so accommodating with individual checks(Party of 6)
We had a birthday celebration and she took the cake and put the candles on when she brought it out!🎶🎂 The Salmon was the best... looking forward to going back again! 5 Star

We were very excited to check out Akira in Aptos. We ordered a handful of things to share, such as the crispy rice, edamame, and a handful of rolls. The crispy rice was really delicious. Overall we were happy with the rolls as well, as everything was quite decent.
The portion sizes were also extremely generous for the pricepoint.
Overall a positive experience!

I took my ten-year-old here for an early dinner and was delighted with the tasty food and friendly service. The atmosphere is inviting with a modern spin. It was happy hour, so I tried the poke bowl paired with a hot sake. My son had the kids' bento box with tofu. The fresh and flavorful food makes us eager to return soon! 5/5 stars!

The miso soup here was fantastic, one of the fresher tasting ones I have had. We ordered three sushi rolls and they were all very fresh and tasty. The parking here was a bit of a pain but the restaurant said the 30 minute parking isn’t heavily enforced so don’t let that stop you from trying this place out.

I haven’t been here in such a long time, but while I was back in town I wanted to try it again and I’m glad I did. Food was great first off, and by the way happy hour mondays is all day long. $5 sake bombs, good appetizers, and good rolls. The menu is extremely large and diverse as well. Our server, Bobby was attentive, and very well versed in the menu and answered all of the questions we asked. I enjoyed my Ninja roll, and the Gyoza the most. The tempura roll was also good, I want to come back and try the Cadillac roll.

For the price I’m disappointed.
The sashimi tastes like it is a Costco salmon cut and put on a plate. Flavorless and slightly fishy.
The rolls are ok but not amazing. There was a long HAIR in my roll I had to pull out of my mouth!! I know it wasn’t mine because it was a very dark color while I have light hair.
The miso soup is so bland. Probably the worst one I’ve had.
The atmosphere wasn’t great I found it a bit dirty and noisy in the wrong ways with dishes clanging and servers dropping plates.
Our waiter was very distant and took forever to come to the table to greet and take our orders.
