For the price I’m disappointed.
The sashimi tastes like it is a Costco salmon cut and put on a plate. Flavorless and slightly fishy.
The rolls are ok but not amazing. There was a long HAIR in my roll I had to pull out of my mouth!! I know it wasn’t mine because it was a very dark color while I have light hair.
The miso soup is so bland. Probably the worst one I’ve had.
The atmosphere wasn’t great I found it a bit dirty and noisy in the wrong ways with dishes clanging and servers dropping plates.
Our waiter was very distant and took forever to come to the table to greet and take our orders.

Great place for lunch and I assume the dinner is too. Food is fresh, Mitchell is great at his job and we felt right at home being that we visit from Prunedale. I do recommend this place.

The Hamachi sashimi is excellent. The calamari was not as good as previous visits. It used to be light and tender but this time it was pretty chewy and maybe overcooked? Service was very good and the Happy Hour was great.

Food was good, skirt steak teriyaki was especially tasty. Our server, he basically abandoned us and it took longer to get our check paid than it did for us to eat our meal. The other servers seemed competent though, and you could tell this spot has a lot of (well earned) regulars who knew them.
