Ambrosia India Bistro- APTOS

My favorite Indian restaurant in Santa Cruz county. I love Indian food but I usually can’t handle too much spicy. Ambrosia is very thoughtful about that, they make a delicious food just right and if you want to add more spice you can. My favorite is the buffet, because you can try many different dishes. Love this restaurant!

Yes, food good, service fine but the prices are too high especially for naan.

Samosa quite good. Vegan vegetable korma not great. Flavor kind of sweet. My guess is the vegetables were from a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. I could be wrong. Would not order again.

Awesome..the Lassi, okra and Goan curry fish are my favorites so far.

We ate at the buffet. Tasty but arrived at the end of buffet time so some things were gone, some overcooked. The rice was a little hard. Everyone loved the food. 3 of us were vegetarian. Nice staff. No one came by to get a drink order so we drank water.

They have halal lamb! The biryani is brilliant and the other dishes are excellent. The other similar restaurant with the same name is closer to my house but I choose this one instead. When we order ahead the food is always ready when we arrive.If you get the biryani takeout, double check the little sauce cup lid.

Their feasts are excellent value and delicious. The only issue I have is that they don't have a good Indian pickle, the one they have is too bitter.

Really good. Service is top notch. Food comes out quickly

We went in on a Monday night at 7:30 for my mother's birthday. We didn't know what to expect of the food since we just had the Google recommendation and very minimal pictures. We wanted to take my mom somewhere special without driving out to San Jose,SF, or Momterey. This restaurant was very nice. With a niche of Hindu (Hindi,Indian, sorry for my ignorance), delicacies, and atmosphere. There was beautiful glassware and the tables were set up for a nice fancy dinner. We were a party of 6, so we all got a different dish and had a feast. EVERYTHING WAS SO DELICIOUS. The tables favorite was the freshly baked Nann and the Chicken Tikka Masala. It was like a mole but better. My mom was delighted, which was the most important outcome for us. Our server, Om, was so kind and informative about our dinner questions and plates. He even arranged for a surprise HappyBday song, which made us so happy (my mom is 63 and very hard to please lol) so PLEASE ho support this restaurant. It's delicious and affordable and their hours are great. Will go back for their lunch buffet! Thank you, Om and Ambrosia!

Kid-friendliness: Very spacious and gated. If the restaurant is empty, kids should have no problem sitting separately, walking around, or going to the bathroom unattended.
