The food was amazing, 10/10 and the service was amazing! Very kind staff! The live band playing really topped it all off, they play every Thursday night and they were great! This is a great spot to grab a quick dinner with the family if you're in the area!

Aptos St. BBQ is simply my happy place. Amazing food. Great beers and great live music! Yesterday I saw Mojo Mix and they were awesome. Great guitar playing and band (as a trio this time really kicked it up a notch).

Baby back ribs are smoky but lacked a bit of flavor. Mac and cheese was fresh and cheesy. They had a live band which was nice but a bit loud, couldn't hear each other. My friend had ordered for takeout and they didn't put napkins or utensils in the bag and she thought it was because she didn't add a tip (which she shouldn't since it's takeout). Overall not bad but there's room for improvement here.

The food is great if you go in person. But order delivery, and you'll get half a pound of fat, with a few wood chips thrown in. Absolutely NOT edible at ALL, and not cheap. Complaints to them were not even answered. I would not recommend. EDIT: Mike, the Regional manager reached out to me and was very apologetic and effective in service recovery. I am looking forward to eating some lean and delicious meals at Aptos St BBQ in the future.

I've loved this place for years but last night for the second time the chicken was red in places -- dangerously undercooked. This was surprising because in my online order I specified, "Please make sure that the chicken is fully cooked -- not overcooked, just not red and bleeding in places." The ribs were as always fabulous, as were the potato salad and cole slaw but do I need to have the Health Dept tell them sternly that chicken is dangerous to eat if it's still a bit raw?

Best bbq I've had in Northern California. I LOVED the ribs - crispy sugar coating and perfect amount of bite. The sides were also surprisingly very good, especially the potato salad (I'm not normally a big fan but this was delicious). Tried my kid's chicken and that was a bit dry for my liking. We will definitely be coming back!
Arrived around 8p and a number of items were mostly sold out. We walked out, but then turned around as we didn't want to delay dinner longer and the scent of bbq was SO enticing. The cashier was very helpful when we entered and them returned. I was able to order a Family Pack 5 with a full rack of ribs, 1 lb tri-tip, 1/2 chicken, 3 pints of sides and a loaf of garlic bread. They ran out of chicken and let is have brisket instead. My family loved it so much that they want to eat here again before we leave. We missed the strawberry rhubarb pie, but will get some when we return. This was some of the best bbq we've eaten. The flavor of the meat was perfect without sauce. Both the original and spicy sauces were a perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Spicy was a nice mellow heat that slowly builds without overwhelming your senses. We are going to buy sauce before we leave the area.

Some of the best barbecue I've ever had! I got the tri-tip sandwich with mac & cheese. Their original BBQ sauce is so good! I'll definitely be stopping here every time I'm in town.
