I enjoyed a very good dinner on New Year’s Eve. Ashley, our waiter was attentive and her service was efficient and personable. Bus person was also attentive to our water refills. From a holiday menu, the coconut prawns withThai dipping sauce were good, the beet salad of gold & scarlet beets with fuyu persimmon, roasted hazelnut & chevre goat cheese over fresh greens was delicious. My entree was the lobster ravioli with bay scallops, marinated cherry tomatoes, ahi, prawns and a light pesto cream sauce. The first bite melted in my mouth and made me so happy with my choice. This restaurant has a history of mixed reviews with several lamenting the loss of excellence from the “old days” when it was the locals choice for great food and service. I have dined at this restaurant for over 30 years. In more recent years, it hasn’t ever recaptured the excellent reputation it once had, but I give my dining experience on this evening a high rating.

My wife and I shared a ceviche and grilled calamari. We sat on the patio with our pet dog and enjoyed the view. The service was friendly and efficient. Oh, and the coconut cheesecake was absolutely delicious.

Excellent food! The Calamari was awesome, as were the mussels and fish tacos! And I highly recommend the Banana Cheesecake!

Staying in the immediate area and stopped in for dinner without reading previous reviews. They sat us in the second tier of seats rather than widow, with many many window seats open. Was told our waitress was running late. Eventually got more than water from a second waitress. Waitress finally arrived and took our order (timeliness is clearly establishing itself as another issue here). Food arrives and its ok at best. Nothing horrible. Nothing good. Certainly below the price. After waiting more, asked for the check. Was brought a different tables check. Waited some more. Got our waitresses attention and asked for our check at which point she went to the kitchen and waited for plates to serve. We were at the point of going to the cashier and asking for our bill as it was working on 5 minutes plus when the waitress arrived to provide the true bill. I am sure you can finish the story as to what happened after we got our check.... we waited some more for her to return and take care of cc payment. In a nutshell, I can't recommend and we will be eating elsewhere tonight during our 3 day stay.

After a day at the beach we decided to head over for some food at 4pm. Online and there signage states they open at 3pm. We were seated quickly and informed the only entrees available are burgers until 5pm. We ended up grabbing a few appetizers to subside our hunger and went elsewhere for our meals. Food was decent, but overpriced.

Food was pretty tasty, service left us disappointed. Our waitress was a little rough around the edges and in a hurry which didn't feel good. Beautiful view of the ocean and live music when we first arrived. The Ahi Tuna was delicious! My prawns were ho hum. The crack cauliflower is definitely worth it too. Oh, and don't forget to try the homemade mud pie for dessert- scrumptious with the best chocolate toffee!
