Castelli’s Caffe & Deli. Seacliff area

Wonderful family deli. The Cali sandwich is my go-to. The pastries are also a must try. Lunch is busy during the summer. You can order ahead. Great place for lunch if you're heading to the beach in Aptos.

I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot. I have eaten there but also love ordering online & taking to go. They are super friendly every time & the food is so good.

Great place. Came with my family on our way to the beach. Good selection of sandwiches and other things. They didn’t have tuna made so made it fresh for my sandwich without issue. My wife loved her coffee. We all liked our sandwiches. Very well made. The people that helped us were all friendly. The owner/grandmother I assume personally thanked us for coming in. This is a great little family owned business that we will be returning to. Highly recommend. Liked this better than Pixies.

I got the Cali sandwich for $14. It has turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo on a square Ciabatta. The worries I had about purchasing a sandwich came to fruition when I realized it's just a Safeway sandwich but smaller and more expensive. Maybe the hot sandwiches are better but they are more expensive. If they had simply put salt and pepper or seasoned the sandwich in some way it would've been forgiving to the $14 price for a basic sandwich but that and shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce made it clearly defined that this place is a hollow cash grab. To be clear the sandwich tasted ok in terms of the bread and turkey but was bland beyond that. This is a $10 sandwich not a $14 one put simply. That being said if you like outdoor seating and are willing to pay any amount and enjoy mediocrity then you'll love it here.

I wanted to like this place. I'd heard from a couple people that it was amazing. Sadly, it was not.

I got a rueben and it fell beneath expectations; it really tasted like something I could easily make at home. The sandwich didn't have any zing or anything special, just a meat and bread taste, and the bread was kinda dry. Barely tasted the cheese & saurkraut, plus all ingredients were in the middle; the edges were all bread.

For $20 (gotta include tip) I expected a bit more: A bigger sandwich, more ingredients, SOMETHING to indicate I got this from a restaurant. I dunno, maybe it's just the ruebens. Seems overpriced for what you get, at least for sandwiches.

Very good food the service was amazing in the atmosphere was just incredible. I would come back here every day if I could.

Seriously great food came for breakfast got sandwichs ( Cali and Nonna's Caprese). So good came back for more sandwichs to go for our kids. Desserts were also fantastic. Coffee top notch. Portion size of food was great. Best sandwichs I've ever had. If we go back to Seacliff beach we are definitely coming back to Castelli's Caffe & Deli.

My sister recommended I stop at this deli before I headed to the beach. The whole menu sounded good, but I ended up getting the meatball sandwich. I was not disappointed. One gigantic saucy meat ball was placed between some super good roll. I highly recommend this place. It’s a small family owned deli that has plenty of tables out front. I can’t wait for another beach day with a Castelli’s sandwich .

great deli with big baked goods selection… i go to Seacliff state beach twice a month to walk and have seen this place so finally tried it. small but chock full of options, with coffee/smoothies too. Small beignets: YUM. Highly Recommended.
