Castelli’s Caffe & Deli. Seacliff area

The past four times ive been there ive ordered a custom sandwich and 3 out the four my sandwich has had mayo on it when I requested no mayo. Its frustrating when I come home open my sandwich and then have to scrape mayo off it. I love supporting local businesses and have tried to give the benefit to the staff but after 3 of 4 sandwiches being wrong there is a strong chance I wont be back.

Love this place. Great menu and service. We were welcomed with a bright smile and a positive attitude. So many great things to choose from. A wide beverage selection as well as some amazing cannoli! Definitely recommend a stop here. If you are headed to the beach it is very conveniently located.

First time her, glad I saw the sign at the Entrance to Seacliff Beach. I got me a nice Toasted Pastrami Sandwich. It was delicious. i will definitely visit again.

Weird - not sure if this is normal or not, just got a plain breakfast burrito this morning with Bacon and nothing else - but the eggs have a weird green color, is this normal?

Great local deli with a good selection of freshly made sandwiches. Service is friendly and there is a small patio outside that is very pleasant. Your so close to the beach you might want to just make it a picnic

Great place to grab a bite before heading down to the beach. Great sandwiches! The fillings are delicious and the bread is soft. The employees are very nice and helpful. Good parking too.

Wow. Always thought it’d be nice to alas have a decent true Italian deli in Sta Crx - came upon this spot today. Nastiest attitude of the woman taking orders and money and worst food you could possibly choke down. For $30!!! one could get a better sandwich at 7-11. Got the Spicy Italian and Mac salad - salad was undercooked and the sandwitch was like eating not just cat meat but the entire cat. Argh! Bread stale, silly bland processed meats, slab of tasteless cheese, no tomato’s or peppers or sauce and the worst that stringy white no nutritional cabbage lettuce to gag on. They don’t even make there own meatballs - oi vey I felt bad gifting it to the junkie standing on the median down the street. I didn’t want to encourage him.. ( I mean to stay away from this sad deli also..). Seriously county could have done better permitting a dumpster there. Cut out the middle man robbery.

The espresso was great(we had a capuchino and a latte) and they have a nice selection of delectable baked goods—beignets filled with Nutella are a must 😋. The young man who took our order was very courteous and friendly. There is really nowhere to sit, but a great stop on the way to the beach.

Wonderful family deli. The Cali sandwich is my go-to. The pastries are also a must try. Lunch is busy during the summer. You can order ahead. Great place for lunch if you're heading to the beach in Aptos.

I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot. I have eaten there but also love ordering online & taking to go. They are super friendly every time & the food is so good.

Great place. Came with my family on our way to the beach. Good selection of sandwiches and other things. They didn’t have tuna made so made it fresh for my sandwich without issue. My wife loved her coffee. We all liked our sandwiches. Very well made. The people that helped us were all friendly. The owner/grandmother I assume personally thanked us for coming in. This is a great little family owned business that we will be returning to. Highly recommend. Liked this better than Pixies.

I got the Cali sandwich for $14. It has turkey, lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo on a square Ciabatta. The worries I had about purchasing a sandwich came to fruition when I realized it's just a Safeway sandwich but smaller and more expensive. Maybe the hot sandwiches are better but they are more expensive. If they had simply put salt and pepper or seasoned the sandwich in some way it would've been forgiving to the $14 price for a basic sandwich but that and shredded lettuce instead of leaf lettuce made it clearly defined that this place is a hollow cash grab. To be clear the sandwich tasted ok in terms of the bread and turkey but was bland beyond that. This is a $10 sandwich not a $14 one put simply. That being said if you like outdoor seating and are willing to pay any amount and enjoy mediocrity then you'll love it here.
