First time visiting this cafe after a referral from a friend and listening to the podcast! Did not disappoint. Every detail from the first step into the cafe is intentional. Employees are personable, relaxed, friendly and lighthearted. Layout is spacious, aesthetically pleasing (both with color coordination and branding), comfortable. Many different seating options and an outlet at every chair. Ordered a cappuccino and the breakfast burrito. Well priced, high quality tasted in everything. My boyfriend thought the burrito was slightly sweet in a good way and thought there was brown sugar in it, but I’m pretty sure it was cumin cooked in the potatoes—either way, a homemade cooking touch. The store’s baked goods are sourced from manresa bread and look amazing. Matcha is in pure powder form, not a sugar-concentrate, and there is seasonal pumpkin spice as well to add to the traditional European coffee offerings (caffe au lait; flat white, etc.) From the easygoing and accommodating staff to the durable to-go cups, lids, and napkins, to the clever logo and branding, it’s easy to see how they’ve opened 3 stores within a few short years and I look forward to returning for study days whenever I’m back from San Diego!
Vegetarian options: Breakfast burrito has vegetarian soyrizo option. Overnight oats and toasts are vegetarian. There are paleo latte options

The coffee flavor is phenomenal and they can make anything you’re looking for, hot or cold. I had a hot cappuccino and also quad shot vanilla latte. Others in my party had oat milk coffees and hot chocolates. All drinks were delicious and flavor balanced. Pastries are really good too with several options to chose from. It can get like, “line out the door” busy, but they manage the crowded times well and the staff I experienced were incredibly friendly.
Dietary restrictions: All manner of milk substitutions available.
Kid-friendliness: Both, the indoor, spacious bench/booth style seating spots and cool semi-enclosed outdoor seating area accommodates infant car seats and space for littles if the get the wiggles. The place can feel pretty full though when there is a rush. Lots of people take drinks to-go though.
