After dropping off the 7 Winklesticks and two boxes of Bluehanker Gobblygoons to Uutaacuss Coombaba the Sea Urchin diver from Uganda I was whipped. I think he's going to use those things to scrape the barnacles off his trawler, and I told him that's not what they're designed for, but he just mumbled and made some popping noises like the Bantu tribesmen do. He paid me and I couldn't get out any faster. I made a beeline straight for Eric's DeliCafe they're the best on the coast.5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

The service at Aptos Erik's Deli is amazing. Wonderful people.I have been going to Erik's Deli since it was only at Scotts Valley with the original founder- Erik.I am disappointed with the product I have been served. The sandwiches in the past few months have had very little meat and vegetables in them.The pockets breads are barely filled. Everything seems to be just sprinkled in. I have resorted to asking for extra sprouts or whatever. I hope they step it up to match their prices. I will see if other owners have followed this design.

Came here on a Monday afternoon and the place was very quiet. I wanted to try the soups here and I got the claim chowder and chicken vegetable rice. I loved the claim chowder and it had great flavor but the chicken vegetable rice did not taste good. The meat did not taste like chicken but had this tuna taste. Not sure if they use a seafood broth but would not recommend that soup.

I like Erik's Deli , but this one in Rancho Del Mar in Aptos is the best one ! Always great service and consistently delicious . Today my husband picked up my take out order I made in the App . I ordered the SOURDOUGH BOWL CLAM CHOWDER SOUP AND HOUSE SALAD COMBO . I was gladly surprised when I opened the bag at home and the bread bowl was still warm and crunchy , the soup very hot and creamy and the house salad , a very good size ( bigger than it looks in the pic ) , with mixed greens , tomatoes , cucumbers , sprouts and croutons . I paid extra for avocado . This combo is a good value too .
This place is fantastic! Excellent selection of specialty sandwiches and the aioli sauce is great! The Cali Classico was very good and the clam chowder was chunky and very good. Will be back again before we head home.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was little. So I can say sandwiches are my childhood food. The atmosphere reminds me of my childhood and I really like it. I honestly can't not like this restaurant but if you don't I won't fight you.

If I could I would give 10 stars. I eat here at least once a month and the staff at the Aptos location are BEYOND friendly. They are so happy and welcoming!! The sandwiches are consistently fresh and tasty. They don’t charge extra for sprouts OR avocado (in fact they comes default on a lot of the sandwiches!)Honestly I wish it took them longer than the less than 5 minutes it usually takes to make the sandwich. It would give me more time to look at all the local historical images on the walls. Super fun to see the history of the area before taking your food out to the lovely outdoor seating.RESPECT YOUR PICKLE!! ??

Erik's Deli has been my personal favorite sandwich place ever since I was young. Something about the ingredients on their sandwiches and their delicious soup makes me wanna come back for more. I love how they also offer combo meals with chips, soup, and a drink to go with it. I always get that with half an R-E-O speed wagon and tomato basil soup. Never fails to hit the spot. I love how their sauce tastes as well as the sprouts they add onto their sandwiches, it makes a sandwich taste so much better in my opinion.
