Lovely bakery / gift shop with a huge menu. The pancakes (which are gluten free!) were fluffy and portions are huge. I tried the matcha lemonade, which sceptical at first, was a refreshing drink on a hot day.

Gift shop also has lots of lovely local wears. The young woman working the counter with the long brown hair was so nice and wrapped my gifts up beautifully (and at no extra cost!).

Turkey sando was delicious.

Good fresh, healthy food choices. Friendly staff. The desserts looked very enticing. Lots of seating outside and some inside. The gift shop took up a lot of space. Wish they had a few more small food choices such as half sandwiches or half entre salads. Overall great experience.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at The Farm while in Aptos this afternoon: the burger and Spicy Bird chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. The quality of ingredients was very good, all the food was tasty (not over-salted), and the plates were prepared with care. Both plates included homemade chips and a serving of giardiniera. The mango iced tea was refreshing, and I like that it was unsweetened. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

French toast and tarts, to die for.

Unfortunately cannot compare to Gayles bakery, but a nice location for breakfast or lunch. Food is typically very good. Parking is terrible on site, but off site is available. Service is spotty. Fruit tarts are one of their specialties. Good seating areas for eating.

Go for the food and baked goods...and then go again! The atmosphere leans more towards a quirky farm stand than a place to relax and enjoy a meal, although if the weather is nice, hanging out at the outdoor patio might be worth it. If I lived closer, I would like to visit more often to bring home one of their quiche options or a dessert. The pancakes were excellent except for the cold butter pats.

The pastry side was great (quiche, fruit tart), but the breakfast was ok. A little overprice for the quality of what you are getting. But I like the atmosphere. Dog-friendly.
