The pork bao is a pork meatball (yes, like those in spaghetti, but made of layered pork)
The dough is raw 😂

Was excited to try- but not gooood. Service was not great/ friendly, bathroom was disgusting, and food sub par. I’ve had instant soup broth taste better, plus it was very expensive

Really sweet servers and kitchen staff. But the soup dumplings came lukewarm, were really small and hard. Unfortunately the experience did not feel like it was worth the money. I hope the owners keep working on their recipes.

Service was great, the server she was very polite and courteous as well as knowledgable and helped also explain the specials + drinks well. Food was presented and served in a very attractive way. Had the dinner special which included Fried Wontons + Spicy Ground Pork Noodle Soup & drink of choice. Very tasty and good mix of flavors, definitely a lot of food just for one person might even be able to share between two people. Will be back to try other dishes for sure!

I tried the new Aptos restaurant Jack’s Bao tonight. I don’t really do restaurant reviews, but after hearing mixed reviews, I felt compelled to let ya’ll know I thought it was really good. I ordered the Lions mane meatball soup and 3 pork bao buns. My daughter ordered the jasmine milk tea too. Everything was excellent. I will definitely go back & you should too. Friendly service as well. Super yum. Happy we have a new, delicious choice.

The Aptos Chamber of Commerce welcomed Jack's Bao with a ribbon cutting event on Saturday. Lisa and her staff did a wonderful job welcoming each guest who came for the grand opening. The food was wonderful, the staff friendly. Please support our new restaurant in Aptos.

A wonderful family owned & operated restaurant. Great addition to the Aptos culinary scene. Lovely atmosphere, service with a smile, delicious food and generous portions. Even my 5 & 8 yr old daughters loved both the soups & dumplings, and they are notoriously selective food aficionados :)

My overall experience was wonderful. The staff is absolutely amazing and attentive. The Bao was so soft and flavorful. You can feel the love cooked in every item. Definitely a go to for the upcoming rainy and cold season.

Awesome. Me and my coworkers had lunch here and the spicy pork noodle soup was divine. Rich flavors and just the right amount of spicy.

Astronomically expensive, distinctly average. Meatball in dough does not make Steamed Pork Bao.

Took food to go and was impressed with the clean presentation. The food was very tasty. The fried dumplings were very good and I really liked the soup broth.
