I had a strawberry cheesecake on a waffle cone. And it was fabulous. My son had a chocolate brownie Sunday with chocolate ice cream. And I taste that 1 as well, and it was pretty good, too. My husband had toasted almond. And he said it was an amazing combination.

We have been going to Marianne's for more than 20 years. This ice cream does not disappoint us ever. Not only they have many delicious flavors. The seasonal flavors keep us looking forward to the special flavors like in summer they have Cantaloupe. My kids love the triple chocolate chip. Whenever we are in town, Marianne's is a must stop. Their service is great and it's always busy. But it is worth the wait.

Great memories and making more. Yesterday took my grandson for his first banana split. Was so fun and the worker was so nice and patient with us .super delicious ice cream always and the line was not so bad yesterday. Thank you for the masterpiece banana split.

Very busy,waited about 20 minutes for ice cream. So many flavors, everything we tried was delicious. I recommend getting the lemon custard and blueberry cheesecake together.

Such good ice cream we had the double banana split, 4 scoops of ice cream, 4 toppings, 4 cherries and whipped cream it was so delicious and worth every calorie.

After walking along Seacliff State Beach: ice cream at Marianne's just up the road. Gawk at the myriad of flavors available, then get a number. You can ask for samples if you need to narrow down your options. There are a few tables and chairs inside but I think most people take their treats to go. They also serve coffee drinks but on this sunny, late winter afternoon, everyone there was having ice cream.
One of my personal food missions this year is to try all 100+ ice cream flavors at Marianne's. As of today, we've tried 8 flavors. Our favorites so far (in no particular order): * Cookies and mint * Pralines and cream * Heaven: Vanilla ice cream with Fudge Swirl, Peanut butter Swirl, and Brownies * Kahlua Krunch: Coffee Liqueur ice cream with Chocolate Swirl and Candy Crunch * 1020: Caramel ice cream with Chocolate Swirl and Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Service is super friendly, you get to try before you buy, and the ice cream is sooo creamy. I love that they're open so late (11 pm)!

There is nothing better than coming to Marianne's after a day at Seacliff beach. The iconic Santa Cruz ice cream finally opened a location in Aptos and it is the perfect place to end a long summer day. Grab a milkshake for the car and suddenly the traffic on 17 won't seem so bad. The staff is really friendly. They are great at suggesting flavors and very generous with the samples.
