Absolutely amazing! I went during on a Thursday for their $40.00 three course pasta special! Everything was delicious, I got the Bolognese. can’t believe I haven’t gone to this place before! Definitely now on my top three favorites in Santa Cruz

Persephones food is so mind blowingly good, it is literally soul warming. Especially the desserts, i seriously can’t come up with the words to express how out of this world they are. I’ve come here with my family a few times and we are always laughing ourselves sick drunk off the good food every time. I could not reccomend a restaurant more -seriously. The ambiance inside is incredibly clean and homey and comforting. i really feel like i can enjoy myself to my fullest extent...

Wow! Persephone becomes only my second 10-out-of-10 restaurant in the region. The wonderfully delicious first nibbles had us smiling immediately and anticipating a great meal ahead: fresh, oily, salty focaccia, explosively robust olive oil, acidic balsamic (instead of the sweet syrupy indulgence), and garlicky white bean puree (or was it a delicate fresh hummus?).
