I like the concept, but for some reason this just didn't work for me. I love salads, and was excited to try the Aptos salad, with ranch instead of the house vinaigrette. The salad was very presentable and a fair size, but was also expensive at 18 dollars. I found the flavors didn't mesh well for me, the greens were a little too bitter and the ranch was very tart, more like a vinaigrette. I ate about half the salad and was over it, I couldn't revisit it later. I wanted to like this place, but ultimately I'd prefer to prep a good salad at home. Or get a salad at Aptos St BBQ, the bomb.

Soul Salad is the best! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and good portions every time I go. If you haven't been there yet give it a try. My go to is the Santorini but my daughter switches it around and has always been happy with her order. If you haven't tried it yet you should give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

It's VERY difficult to find a good salad, let alone a place that specializes in salads. I got the Cobb with chicken and it was delicious! So filling, everything was super fresh, and chicken was tender and flavorful. The restaurant itself is super clean, bright, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have a really nice drink selection and make their own tea and kombucha drinks. I wish it was closer to my house because I'd be here all the time!
