Wonderful place for the locals to enjoy great atmosphere, drinks and food. Tonight I had the chili dog….so good! They have live music regularly, so much fun. Coffee and breakfast treats in the morning, beer and good food in the evening. Located in the Seascape Village. Give them a try.

Meh can make it at home; or Starbucks is more consistent, at least hot. Definitely don't order coffee.

Confirmed that Southpoint taproom has reopened this week with an updated menu and 12 beers on tap featuring local breweries.

Came here to get an early breakfast before I started a long day of meetings. There were a couple of other customers here when I arrived around 7 am and one barista/cashier who was frantically taking down everyone's orders and then making their drinks. She was a little flustered but I was in no hurry and completely unbothered that I had to wait a couple of minutes before my turn. I ordered a cafe au lait and a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant came out piping out a few minutes later and was delicious - buttery, flaky pastry dough filled with melted cheese and hot ham. Yummy. Coffee came out a minute later and paired really nicely with my meal.

Nice overworked and efficient barista but the owner obviously feels milk allergy is an affectation. $1.25 extra for oat milk!? Never againDietary restrictions: Charge $1.25 extra for oat milk in their mediocre coffee

I really wanted to like this place given its close proximity . Like many other places the prices have gone up substantially and if the place had the customer service and ambiance and quality to support the pricing that would not stop me from going. However, the service is slow, staff has loud personal conversations overriding customers trying to visit and the quality is average. It needs management attention.

Food good. Coffee good. Service meh. Could use some standard hospitality training. Has potential.

The coffee is horrible and the scone okay at best. It's proximity to Seascape is it's biggest plus.

So sad. We have been coming here for years for the excellent brunch and lunch menu. Great food in a wonderful location close to the best beach in Santa Cruz. But they have stopped serving all menu food! Now only pastries and burritos. What a bummer.

Stopped here on our way back from walking on the beach. Ordered a few mochas, a cappuccino, chocolate croissant, burrito, muffin, and sausage sandwich. The drinks came out quickly and so did the pastries (they didn't heat the pastries). We left to bring everything back to our house. Once back at home we realized we forgot to get the burrito and sausage sandwich. We went back and they were waiting on the counter for us. Service was average, everyone who had a mocha said it was watery, and the cappuccino was fine - I've had better but it wasn't horrible, I'd get it again. Chocolate croissant was not good, and I was told the burrito and sausage sandwich wasn't good either. The muffin was good. Overall, I'd go again, but just for coffee.

Need to update website with correct hours and menu. Site allowed me to place an order and took my money but when my husband went to pick it up they were closed. Their phone message even says they are opened so I just thought they were too busy to answer the phone when I called to verify my order. Hopefully they will refund the money. The young man I spoke to was trying to help me so I'm crossing my fingers. What I ordered isn't even on the menu anymore, update needed!! One star because I had to in order to post

Tried this for the first time. Unfortunately our drinks were bland (we had ordered four drinks). The coffee itself tasted old - possibly bad beans. On the bottom of my mocha, there was a clump of chocolate that did not mix in. Just overall poorly made. The staff was unprofessional - mostly on their phones and working at a very slow place. They did give us a refund on our drinks which I appreciated. I hope they can fix some of these issues because the place has some potential!

The WORST tasting coffee. The baristas have an attitude with terrible customer service. Zero stars if I could.

Well...they do not brew decaf...but will make you an Americana. No offense...but hot water with a shot of Expresso is not the same.Last time I decided I would have a caffeinated coffee...and it was kinda week and a bit old. The coffee bar to add cream and sugar...was...I guess acceptable...but the price is a touch high for what you're getting. The staff is always friendly although they seem to change a lot. Possibly because they can't give the people what they want.
