Holy crap! We should have stuck with our gut from pulling up! We were "seated " so to say. We walked through some side ally that smells like Fabuloso... the purple kind. We enter this "room" and are told to sit where we please. We waited a little while and were offered drinks from some hungover looking guy hanging out a window. We should have left like 3 signs ago my husband ordered coffee, I ordered tea... he didn't know what tea was. The woman explained there are no menus just tell them what we want and they'll make it, just no pancakes. At this point We left. Save yourself the trauma.

Cool place, but been closed during the pandemic. I hope they are able to reopened after

Super delicious pupusas, breakfast foods and other variety of tasty snacks. While you are in Aptos, definitely stop in for a great hole in the wall experience!

WAY over priced!! $65 for 6 pupusas (with very little meat in them), a bean and cheese burrito, a BLT, and 4 sodas. The service was way below what should be expected for what a person pays to eat here. We were not even seated at our table, we had to choose our own table, and then we had no napkins or silverware placed down for us at the table, we were not offered any water, and when we asked for our napkins and forks they were handed to my husband to pass out! My husband requested hot sauce and ketchup and she held up her finger for him to wait, and then handed us a ketchup container with almost no ketchup in it. We were not asked about our food, and the check was just dropped off at the table with no greeting or send off (thanks, have a good day...)

Had a delicioso carne asada burrito during the Covid scare. Great place to support - glad he's staying open.

Good food but terrible service. Takes forever to get served and don't expect a refill on coffee, they're too busy or they never stop by to see how everything is. Sad, because they could be a great place to eat

Taco Tuesday Nights! In addition to their great breakfast and lunches, they are open now Tuesday nights. (Not sure about nights). Shrimp, carnitas , skirt steak, chicken and a unique chill verde tacos (or enchiladas, fajitas) are great!! Every found something the loved. No chips, but papusas and plantains and beans made great appetizers. El Salvadorian

Food was fresh and staff friendly and accommodating. We had pupusas and chile verde enchiladas. We will return! Service is slow, but we didn’t mind.

Surprise re-find. Hadn’t been in a few years and either they have expanded the menu or I totally forgot they also have El Salvadoran food! Good pupusas, great pancakes (thin style), friendly service, lots of breakfast combinations.

I'd add photos, but I ate everything. Carnitas and cheese pupusa with eggs, beans, and rice. Can't go wrong there. Definitely coming back, it's a very satisfying meal. Plenty of options, and a good Bloody Mary.

Love this place for breakfast! Super friendly, quick service and great breakfast. I'm probably lucky with timing, but rarely a long wait for such a popular little spot.

About like the title describes. Non showy confined interior. The fish tacos were okay. The portions of fish were very small and I have doubts that it was Mahi. Service was minimal. Manuel's next door is a pretty legit Mexican joint. I would recommend it as an alternative.

The food is great and we LOVE that they are pet friendly in the outdoor patio area, however, the service has gotten HORRIBLE. The last several times we have gone, we had to ask and wait forever for EVERYTHING. The staff isn't rude, it just appears as if they don't care anymore. We are not demanding folks, but I do expect to not have to ask and wait over 15 minutes for silverware and napkins. Refill on coffee? good luck. Its so sad, I really want to support this local small business, and the food tastes great but I'm afraid we won't be returning do to the horrible service.

Very clean and convenient place. They provide generous meals and for inexpensive prices. We loved the menu very much and the staff members were super amiable and chatty. Recommended.

This spot sure knows how to serve their customers. Always with a kind demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly yummy and neat.
