As a middle eastern person: this falafel is not good. The flavor and texture are off and it’s dry. I tried to like it by going a second time but ultimately decided it was not for me. I could see someone who hasn’t had good falafel enjoying this place. They have a good amount of options, but kind of pricy. Service is great though.
The food is very good and the portions are ample. Their meats are flavorful and the saffron rice is moist. We are here whenever we make our way to Capitola or Aptos.

I recently visited Zameen Mediterranean Cuisine in Aptos, having heard it might surpass the 41st Avenue location in terms of ingredient quality and their well-known rotisserie chicken. While the experience was enjoyable, I didn’t notice any significant differences in flavor or quality between the two locations.
The rotisserie chicken, which I had high hopes for, tasted much the same as at the other location — still delicious and well-seasoned but not necessarily better. The portions, however, did seem smaller, which was a bit disappointing given the price point. If you're someone who loves larger servings, you might notice this as well.
That being said, the ambiance in the Aptos location was quite pleasant. It's a more mellow spot that feels cozy and laid-back, perfect for a relaxed meal. The seating is comfortable, and the atmosphere is great for a casual dining experience.
Customer service was also a highlight. The staff were friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good experience. It was easy to ask questions and get recommendations.
Overall, while the food was tasty and the service was excellent, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype in terms of being superior to the 41st Avenue location.

It's no longer there...a taco place is in that site
I had the lamb burger with sweet potato fries. Both were so yummy. Plenty to eat.

You pay first(including tip) and then receive service.
Wrap and chicken bowl were good. Real saffron on rice?. Pizza ok, little too cheesy.
And I didn’t enjoy the vibe and decoration of this place. Expected more. There were two very big photos (very old definition of the region: donkey!) while precious original pcs of art (like Khatamkari) was in dirty, dark restroom.

Appetizers were good, main dishes were not. *This is totally my opinion!* And I just may not be one for Mediterranean food.

Walked in and both female workers were staring at me like they'd never seen a person walk in the door before, it felt very weird to be stared at while I checked out the menu. Food was... Terrible. Rice was either under cooked or 1 week old, I could not tell the difference. Falafel was appalling, burnt and awful tasting, I couldn't even finish eating the tiny order I was given. Chicken in the bowl tasted like it came out of a pre-packaged Jack Daniel's pulled chicken box. To top it off, I tipped 15% on a To Go order....and when I was ready to eat at a a nice spot on the beach, turns out these lovely lady's wanted to save the environment and not give me any utensils or napkins. Would not go back or recommend to anyone.

I ordered the falafel gyro wrap, hummus appetizer, and the kids burger. Everything was incredibly delicious! Food was fresh and tasty. I can’t wait to go back. They have nice seating inside and there are also table and chairs you can use outside on nice days. I highly recommend!
Kid-friendliness: The kids menu has great options!
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant and restrooms inside require no steps. The tables a spaced out enough that it is easy to pull in a wheelchair to a table.

This is not what a falafel should taste like! This was dry and tasteless. So disappointing. The Falafel place on Mission St. knows how to make them. And our pizza tasted like a premade dough, was not crisp and heavy on the cheese. Will not be going back.
