The chef here is incredibly kind, welcoming, and hardworking (he takes the order, clears the table, etc. too besides cooking). He offered us lassi on a hot day and the other things we ordered (kadai paneer, naan, and samosa chat) were all quite good too. Stopping here for a quick lunch was worth it.
While traveling the I5 I didn’t realize the restaurant choices were slim. I googled and found I5 Dhaba. It is located inside a Sinclair gas station with two other food options. (Which means take out or there are a couple of tables outside) Let me tell you - their tandoori chicken was THE BEST! The menu said “six pieces” for $12.99. Excellent indian food for the price! I received more than I thought i would, for the money! It was well worth pulling off I-5 to get their delicious food! I will definetly be coming back next time I am traveling south on the I-5! Very fresh, flavorful and nice man who made my food! Thanks!
