A SLO County Classic! Busy on the weekends but always a family favorite with a great beer selection, a solid menu, acai bowls and now ice cream!

Food was garbage. Philly Cheese Steak was goopy with no presentation. The fries looked like they died. Poke bowl was ok nothing special. The street corn was dry. The kale salad was flat.

Stopped in at the Market yesterday for a Krava Bowl. Feeling under the weather-head cold - nothing serious but really needed something refreshing, cool and with fruit. Meet the Açaí Krava Bowl. Fabulous and just what this lady needed. If you want to eat the rainbow, have some fruit, something cool & refreshing without milk, this is it! Perfect Rx. The market has a good vibe, fun music from the kitchen, is full of light and sunshine. You can eat indoors or out (dog-friendly). And they have many market selections too, including beer, wine, candy, sodas. Even some beach toys. They have a great restaurant menu, will be back to try something of the other choices. Great experience!

Awful wrap. I got the chicken bacon avo wrap and it was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. The chicken looked and tasted like it was from a can and the wrap was overstuffed with lettuce in a cold tortilla with a pathetic smattering of kettle chips. Also has a "house sauce" described on the menu that has some spice to it. They should disclose what this sauce is because I wouldn't have had this on my wrap, I don't like spicy things. All for $18 plus tip. A chicken wrap is one of the easiest things to NOT mess up but this place found a way. Not going back here and wouldn't recommend if you're planning to get this wrap.

Bacon breakfast sandwich is absolutely amazing. Most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had hands down. Breakfast is served until 11am

We were visiting the coast this weekend and with the cold and foggy weather I was craving clam chowder in a bread bowl. Since it was right off the beach the Avila market fit the bill nicely. Given the weather it wasn't quite as busy as it typically is during the summer so we thought we'd get our food quickly but as it was a big order (9ppl) it took a bit longer than I would have liked. That said the wait was worth it as the chowder was perfect and really melted nicely into that bread bowl. We also order a calamari and chips (fries) which were deep fried perfection,

We went on a Friday morning hoping to get acai bowls and even though it was completely open with lights on, there was a sign saying there was a staff shortage so no one was there. So that was a bummer. I have been on the weekend before and ordered food at the upstairs window (got sweet potato fries) and it was PACKED. Edit: gave another star since we went before the counter opened, and I have gone in the past and their food was good. (I would just recommend for them to state more clearly on their website that the downstairs opens later than the upstairs.)

Good Cafe food, good portion of food worth your money. Amazing view of the beach and pier. Great staff, inside and outside seating areas.

Great place to eat! Good quality food. Good vibes nice seating inside and out. Dog friendly inside and outside the shop. We all loved our food, I highly recommend this place. We will be back to try other foods on the menu.

Was surprisingly one of the best meals in Avila Beach. Very yummy breakfast burritos and a ton of beer, wine, and other supplies available.

Everything that we ate here was delicious and well prepared. From the fish and chips (love that tartar sauce...would love the recipe actually), grilled fish tacos, deli sandwich and the clam chowder was the bomb and perfect for a soft diet after a surgery. Wish we lived closer.

It was my first time visiting Avila Beach and I didn't have a clue where to go. I wandered into this place and asked the cashier what was a favorite. He recommended the tacos. I must say those were the best tacos I ever had in my life. I think the shells are handmade and the steak or Tri-tip was so tender. He said the fish & chips were good and we also ordered that. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to return!!!

Finally, an acai place that does NOT rip you off. Very generous portions and UNLIMITED toppings. Quality is always great and the location makes it such a special place. Their fruit is always fresh and the fact that cacao nibs are included is just so awesome. Love this place!!

Casual lunch with a great view. Friendly service. Fish and chips was fresh. Fries made right. Light beers on tap paired nicely with food.

The smoothie bowls are a must have when visiting Avila Beach. So good! I went back for another one the following day. I also had the tacos….they were ok but nothing fantastic.
